I'd like to know if anyone's actually been in Jove space before. One day I set a waypoint to one of the systems there but it was unreachable. I searched the map but couldn't find any choke points so I think that since huge ships like titans and cap. ships have their own jump drives, they could jump into those regions. Any ideas on this?

They used to be envolved to some degree, but recently they have closed off their space to access from outsiders.

Sadly, Jove space is *not* reachable. Yes, a capital ship, such as anything between Dreadnaught and Titan could jump out there, but you forget one thing: Jump Drives require a Cynosural Field to lock onto before they jump. Since no ship that can generate a Cynosural Field can get into Jove space, Capital ships have nothing to jump to.
However, Kali (the new expansion to EVE that's coming out over the next few months) promises to open up some space to the northwest "corner" of the galaxy map that everyone presumed to be Jove space.

Jove space is not opening up in Kali
Look at the map, see that section that is just south of jove space, that is opening up.
As it stand no one has ever been to Jove space.
As I understand it, the Devs spend time there testing ships and such.

lore response: i think the jove are "evolveing further" behind their little closed wall.
non-lore sesponse: tomb simply took his mighty nerfbat to the gate. but he hit it to hard and it turned into a grape. so we now cant goto jove space

however their evolution would be limited by remaining closed. unless they go around a kidnap other races to keep fresh DNA in the system.

Way back in time, you used to be able to clone jump into Jove space, so some people have been there. As far as I remember, they said that there was nothing there - no rats, no agents, and nothing on the market.

Correct. Just planets gates and stations, not even jovian looking stations

I heard some one have seen some jovian space ship¦s. One of my fiends saw a jovian shuttle on the test server, but also people should had seen diffrent jovian ship¦s on the normal server.
i for one would like to know, if they have a plan to bring jovian into the game, or if it just gonna be a closed area for the dev¦s to play in forever..

theres videos of jove ships on the web use google :)
yeah theres just the 1 station in jove space for GM's to undock from heh but other than that nothing, they dont even use it to test stuff its just for AURORA to get ready for events :)

Well...
If you take a looksie on the map you will see multipul stations and with the new patch you are able to mouse over them systems with stations in and navigate to the individual station and look at whome has an office. Afew player ran corps do have offices in jovian space and rumours have it that is were they used to put naughty people to cool off in eves hay days.
Anywho i know of and have seen
Jovian Battleships
Jovian Cruisers
Jovian Frigs and shuttles
other ships you would expect to see in jovian space with devs in them would be
Enigma (frig with random nos like effect wtf?)
Polaris Frigs (Battleship sized)
Not to mention the tons of random test ships they have setup for "testing" purposes
Ive heard from someone i know that the concord ships are available in jovian space although this cannot be taken as true :)
