My greatest dream would have been to start in Pvp alot earlier.
I wasted 2 yrs EVE time (on and off mind you ) mining and mission running.

Dream when starting: To fly a magestic Raven, in all of it's might, beauty, and supream power. Then after I did this (along with about 25,000 other people)...
New Dream: To actually have my corp grow, prosper, become known in the galaxy for something. Maybe not BoB famous, but know well enough.

When I signed up, way back in the murky days before Exodus, I didn't know much about the game and decided that what I really wanted to do was go out and explore the universe and find the Jovians. Maybe see if there were any story events I could jump in on. I kind of had ideas about being something like an ambassador or diplomat between the brave, underdog Minmatar people and the weird but cool Joves.
I really, really had no clue way back when I were a young lass 
Nowadays I want to be one of the best frigate pilots in the cluster, to know my stuff and always have a ship & setup solution to any problem, and I think I'm doing pretty well on that front.

To see easily correctable issue resolved.
Seed more BPOs, give us a warp to 0km option, and give a large ROF penalty for all aggressive modules to WCS.
That right there would solve about 50% of my dissatisfaction with the current state of Eve.
The other 50% being the abominable lagstrosity whenever more than 50 people shoot at another more than 50 people.

To be able to fly a command ship with all the skills relating to fitting and flying said ship maxed out.
I also have a dream that probably won't come true, and that's to form an all girl corp and fly around podding all male players with girl toons. We would of coarse give them the opportunity to prove that they are girls via TS just to make sure. I would then release the tapes containing several hundred blokes attempting to do falsetto convincingly for hilarity purposes.

Thank you for replies everybody. There are some interesting ones, but it seems that most did not understand the question correctly. Its not about what ship you want to own, or item, or what features you would like to be implemented in the game. Its about what you want to do, where do you ideally see/saw yourself in EVE.

Daredevil is technically, it is built by the Gaurdian Angels for Serpentis so yeah suppose it is a Serpentis frig....
Anyway for myself I have lots of goals all of which are attainable with time Navy Battleship and a Archon to name but a few, dreams well I suppose a mothership, a little bit of space to call my own and a Eve with no lag be it small gang fights or large fleet battles or just normal play.

1) To get a nigh-invunrable armour tanked Deimos with 99.9% resist across the board. 
2) To fly a super-speedy claw that's faster than the end result of a union between Speedy Gonzalas, the Roadrunner, and the Six Million dollar Man. 
3) To own a nifty covert ops ship full of scanners for that "super-spy" feel. 
Not sure how possible these are.... especially number 1, lol.

My dream for EVE is to do away with the silly keyboard and mouse interface, and have a "Matrix" style type of play. Then you could truly LIVE in EVE.

Started off wanting to be a great scientist who could design and build new cool stuff....then found out about m/e, p/e efficiency, I was VERY unimpressed.
Tech 2 was then on the horizon and I got excited again....then found out it was just a lottery.
Later, cosmos came out, I was'nt very excited, which was a good thing considering how hard it is to get the skillbooks.
So, I'm now hoping Kali wont *****me of my last hopes that R&D can be great, but to be realistic, it will probably be another **** take for us wannabe scientists.
Besides being a great scientist I wanted to collect every seeded-on-the-market BPO, not too far off 
My only other goal is to stick with eve until the day they introduce a proper, good, useful, enjoyable R&D system. Sure, it will probably never happen, but here's to wishing and another 4 years *sigh*
*edit*
I think my dream of is is it becomming the game I have always wanted to play. Unfortunately for the past 4 years the game has been too concentrated on warfare, pvp, new ships and guns and no real time has been spent fleshing out R&D, manu..the creative aspect of the game.
Shame really

Well,having realised that i've already been playing this game for over 3 years,and having experienced many highs and lows,accumulated many billions of isk,passed the 50 million skill point mark,and will soon fly my own dread and carrier,i can only think of 2 things that would still exceed what i've achieved so far...
Being a part in the formation of a new aliance in 0.0 space,once those new regions open up with the next patch,and ultimately,flying my own mothership...
But above all else,still have fun in the game.
