Amarr Victor indeed.
And yet, once the celebrations are over, the great evil that has permeated throughout the Crusade will continue to fester, feasting upon the fruits of victory like vermin in the dark. I, of course, speak of the Sani Sabik influence throughout the 24th Imperial Crusade and now that the Minmatar menace has been defeated, I believe an excellent opportunity has been presented for a long-overdue period of introspection. Let the loyalist Amarr alliances and corporations be empowered by the will of Divine Providence and strike down the heretic from where they stand! Suffer not Sani Sabik nor Blood Raider to operate beneath the Empress' banner! |

There are... undesirable elements in the 24th Imperial Crusade, but I wish to assure the faithfuls that these elements have minimal influence in the conducts of the crusade. The integrity of the crusade have not once been compromised, and it shall remain so, with the help of faithful capsuleers.
I wish to make known to all, that heretics and infidels using the good name of the 24th Imperial Crusade to justify their blasphemous actions will be persecuted.
For security concerns, I beg faithful capsuleers to not discuss sensitive information regarding the 24th Imperial Crusade, lest the enemy use it against us.
We also wish Master Reginald Sakakibara to return and help with the efforts against the enemy.

Warfare among immortals with neigh infinite resources tends to result in a great deal of nothing. For those who fight in this meaningless conflic, it has meaning to them as indidviduals, and we cannot judge them poorly for that.
In the grand scheme of things, there are no lasting results except motivation for one side to fight back, and the cycle repeats. The minmatar will eventually take back what was lost as the Amarr forces cannot hold what they have taken forever.
A negotiated peace is the solution that both parties can agree to. It is easy to strike out in vengance. It is much harder to do more than just contemplate peace and come to a final an equitable resolution that the needless cycle of loss. |

On the subject of victory, history tells us that unless the victory is final capturing territory is often easier than subsequently holding on to it. Let us not forget that as the forces of righteousness continue in their fight against the Shakorite menace.

Amarr Victor. But.. yours is not a god of Peace. It is a god of conquest and enslavement. There is only one figure in the entire cluster who is truly devoted to the cause of a peaceful utopian society. And he's not even a god. How does that make you feel, pilot? Knowing that your own petty, spiteful, grasping and greedy 'god' is inferior to a man?
The Empire sought peace with the Republic for over a century. Treaties were in place to prevent war. Who broke those treaties? It wasn't the Empire.

Of all the flaws that the FDU has - and it has many, let me assure you - never did I have towatch as corporations amongst us willingly embraced Serpentis and the Cartel as brothers. The victory of the Amarr in the militia warzone - meaningless as it already is - was built on the backs of Covenant and Nation fanatics and foreign mercenaries. I cannot but feel a bitter pang of cynical amusement at the fact that the militia most dedicated to spiritual and ideological purity has compromised itself by accepting the help of those whom it considers the most spiritually and ideologically sullied.
The Nation and the Sani Sabik are far greater dangers to the Empire than the Republic will ever be, because as much as they might hate you, the Republic really couldn't give a damn about the Empire's internal ideology - only that their people are freed from bondage and that the Empire is never in a position to threaten their independence ever again. The Covenant and the Nation, however, wish to pervert everything the Empire values - religion, culture, heritage, tradition, spirituality and the sanctity of the human mind and body. In your petty obsession with subjugating those who have definitively refused to be subjugated by you, you've sold your soul to those who would indelibly corrupt everything for which you fight. This victory won't even be permanent - in a few weeks or months, the Republic will probably control the majority of the warzone for a time, because vast weight of precedent demonstrates that warzone control is not sustainable for long periods.
I wish I could say I was overjoyed to see you buy a fleeting victory with the ashes of your dignity, but in truth my quiet, bitter laughter is being drowned out by the sound of Kvuakei and Sarikusa rubbing their hands together and cackling.

At Lady Silas Vitalia's Party, at which Captain Ixiris and Bleeder Urazmie were both Present, as was myself, the Topic of the Covenant Offensive against the Khanid Kingdom was Discussed.
Captain Ixiris expressed An Interest in Assisting, in the form of a Mercenary Contract, should he be released from some Prior Obligations, as "the Blood Raiders interests align with mine in places".
Bleeder Urazmie invited Captain Ixiris to "Discuss how our interests align in private", whereupon the two persons departed the main Hall where I was Present, for a different Part of the venue.
A short time Later, Bleeder Urazmie returned, looking Amused. Followed a few minutes After by Captain Ixiris, who looked Flustered and Embarrassed.
It Transpired that Bleeder Urazmie had Locked Captain Ixiris in a Closet.
Later, several TS-F pilots appeared, Naked, stealing Furniture from the venue. Some of those Personnel are now in Pyre Falcons.
So, your statement, Admiral Blake, is Inaccurate, as Captain Ixiris did not pledge Eternal Loyalty, only offering services as a Mercenary.
I Hope this Clears Up any Confusion on This Issue.
Sincerely

We do not control who is allowed membership in the 24IC. No militia has any kind of real recruitment standards whatsoever, because every militia is just a privateer organization paying independent contractors to fight as proxies, and there would be nothing stopping those same Blooder and Sansha supporters from leaving Amarr today and signing up for the FDU or TLF tomorrow. And knowing the Sansha supporters, I can imagine they are considering doing just that for the laughs that they would get out of it.
It is certainly very regretable that we are made to work alongside Sansha's Nation supporters and Blood Raiders. But so long as the militias are as hands off as they are, we, those few real loyalists in the militia, are not "willingly providing sanctuary". If any of us had a say, which we do not, then we would certainly see them all cast out instead of welcomed.
Frankly, the ones that are truly breaking their own principles are in fact the Sansha supporters, who for a long time spoke of their disagreement and utter disgust with the empire wars. Now they have chosen to join in on it anyway because the lure of isk and bloodlust was more important than upholding their own precepts. When asked they argue about how they have some mysterious and grand plan that justifies it, but everyone knows that they simply lacked the fundamental strength of will to hold to what they believed in in the face of their own base temptations.
That knowledge is what gives me some level of comfort, at least.
Furthermore, it is not our "petty obsession with subjugation" that lead to this war. We weren't the ones that broke the peace treaties to which we had agreed upon during the foundation of CONCORD. |
