Thought this day would never come , CELEST are not exploiters they are tough cookies and i should know seeing i have actually fought them.
I have come to the conclusion that people that call theire enemys exploiters should take the express way to carebearland and start doing missions and leave the fighting to real men and woman.

As said before, RA have been around since CA split, they have been bombarded by most of the alliances in the south and still manage to keep up spirit and fight on against the odds, they are impressive, goons would have made very little difference in what RA has achieved recently and will continue to achieve... I'd say the only advantage goons are giving is creating more lag for the enemy with their 200 frig zerg

I must say,congrats RA. Another step on the road to defeating the "coalition". Regardless of how exploitative, underhanded & whatever other names ppl may give to your tactics. The recent (relatively speaking, this conflict has been going on for ages after all  ) sucesses you guys have been having are to say the least impressive.
...& setting ur alarm for 4am to play eve  well if ur that committed to the game its no wonder you guys have lasted this long.

I see exploits and lame tactics mentioned in thread, so as the enemy here let me just put record straight.
There were no lame tactics, borderline game mechanics or lag-tactics used in N7.
RA brought in a small fleet, which looked like regular roamers. They locked station, bubbled gates and soon enough goons were swarming in from different places. By the time tired defenders from last weekends 18h gate camps could respond to this satellite station, RA + Goons had system locked down with 120+ folks, gates bubbled up and station well sealed up.
With system in lockdown, no backup fleet nearby, it didn't really matter that the POSes had not been yet fully armed to deathstars.
Only cans I saw dropped around sniper spots were from goons, and there were only about 8x200km of them around station. So no point in petitioning them for lag. RA Snipers did not have drones deployled.
Once again, battle lost fair and square, but the war continues. GF. Hope we will have some fun nearer to core systems soon.

it's in the EULA when you install the game, if you join RA you can't enter siege mode! they are exploiting! it's clear!
If you use all means to defend a battlestar pos with a nice fleet and a bit carrier support and if you use the 'reinforcment' timer cleverly to recharge shields etc., I still think it's almost impossible. Like RA defended in the past with maybe 80 people.

I still say it's almost impossible to remove battlestar poses, if the defender uses the RA approach. Imho you need less than 80 pilots in system to safe your pos against anyone and anything, if you use all your advantages.
Noone has ever said that it's impossible to kill battle star poses in general. It was always under the assumption that you do was has to be done, when they are attacked or at least when they come out of reinforcement. So maybe like I said, the will to keep it was not strong enough, system gone.
We/Coaltion/KoS whoever cares or cares not has to live with the situation now.
So if battlestar poses have been taken out, it proves nothing, just that RA used their means in C-J and did enough in C-J to make it impossible with the current game mechanics, which doesn't seem to happen in n7.
P.S.: You wouldn't have seen me there at 4 o'clock during the week, either. I've done that a few days in F7A and sorry, I have enough of that stuff and want to sleep at that time. RA attacks everything everywhere in the night and that goes over months. If I'd always jump out of bed for that, I'd never sleep in the night.

Motivation and dedication, there you have it. As an outside observer this seem to be the major reason why RA manage to do all this where most others fail.

All I can say, is that the fun started when the Goons showed up. These guys like to actually fight. The last couple of weeks have actually been fun.
I imagine we will continue to have fun around N7 for some time to come.

My poor wife and daughter are about to kill me for that alarm clock ringing at random morning hours. I guess i will have to clean my wallet to buy some nice presents for them again :). It was a good fight. Exploits?- well its always easy to abuse someone. We moved our fleet in, we moved dreads in, we killed about 10 POS...some large some mid some small... It was a good battle. I really dont know where the exploit or cheep tactics is here. I am personnaly gratefulll that some of our enemies show respect and tell the truth. Thank u m8ts. Hope to have more fun with u.

If you are willing to wake up at 2am - 4am to do the whole pos thing then thatÆs fair enough, you probably deserve it. I cannot think of any game related circumstances that I would wake up at such a silly time for. I wonder what it could be that motivates you.

All this talk of alarm clocks reminds me of something that happened in DAoC years ago...
One of the opposing realms couldn't capture our relics under 'normal' circumstances(pre NF), so they attacked on christmas eve. Ohhh the smack afterwards was indeed legendary. heh. (..and yea, it was a pretty pathetic tactic then and still is. Seek help.)

I really love this forum drama. Just to say, good job, achieved mostly due to your dedication to the game being bigger than the defenders'. I myself can't say I'd often wake up at 4 am to shoot poses :)
Anyway, to be honest I'm not too bothered about RA gaining ground. Some months ago someone from RA said that it's good situation for them - a lot of targets.
Well, more RA gets territory more corps who aren't friendly to me seem to come down to 0.0 ;)
