Insmother.
Yesterday after DT, last KOS station in Insmother N7-BIY was captured
by united Red Alliance and Goonfleet forses. KOS are withdrawing their
forses from region. Insmother region is now under full RA control.
The liberation of Insmother is over.
I would like to thank all GS and RA capital fleet and support gang pilots
who answered fleet command calls and dedicated their time to keep KOS under constant pressure and their POS'es in reinforsed modes to drop their claim.
Special thanks to our logistics team , FC's and ALARM CLOCKS!!!

Could anyone explain how RA can destroy PoS ? I though it was impossible according to the "southern coalition", but well managing the impossible is definitely what RA is the best at.

it's in the EULA when you install the game, if you join RA you can't enter siege mode! they are exploiting! it's clear!

Thought this day would never come , CELEST are not exploiters they are tough cookies and i should know seeing i have actually fought them.
I have come to the conclusion that people that call theire enemys exploiters should take the express way to carebearland and start doing missions and leave the fighting to real men and woman.

As said before, RA have been around since CA split, they have been bombarded by most of the alliances in the south and still manage to keep up spirit and fight on against the odds, they are impressive, goons would have made very little difference in what RA has achieved recently and will continue to achieve... I'd say the only advantage goons are giving is creating more lag for the enemy with their 200 frig zerg

I must say,congrats RA. Another step on the road to defeating the "coalition". Regardless of how exploitative, underhanded & whatever other names ppl may give to your tactics. The recent (relatively speaking, this conflict has been going on for ages after all  ) sucesses you guys have been having are to say the least impressive.
...& setting ur alarm for 4am to play eve  well if ur that committed to the game its no wonder you guys have lasted this long.

I see exploits and lame tactics mentioned in thread, so as the enemy here let me just put record straight.
There were no lame tactics, borderline game mechanics or lag-tactics used in N7.
RA brought in a small fleet, which looked like regular roamers. They locked station, bubbled gates and soon enough goons were swarming in from different places. By the time tired defenders from last weekends 18h gate camps could respond to this satellite station, RA + Goons had system locked down with 120+ folks, gates bubbled up and station well sealed up.
With system in lockdown, no backup fleet nearby, it didn't really matter that the POSes had not been yet fully armed to deathstars.
Only cans I saw dropped around sniper spots were from goons, and there were only about 8x200km of them around station. So no point in petitioning them for lag. RA Snipers did not have drones deployled.
Once again, battle lost fair and square, but the war continues. GF. Hope we will have some fun nearer to core systems soon.

If you use all means to defend a battlestar pos with a nice fleet and a bit carrier support and if you use the 'reinforcment' timer cleverly to recharge shields etc., I still think it's almost impossible. Like RA defended in the past with maybe 80 people.
Obviously it didn't happened in n7, I mean assemble a strong fleet at 4 o'clock in the morning to defend the pos with all means and to play the strontium-game well or the pos weren't setup well.
One of this things is surely the reason. Why didn't it happen ? Don't know, maybe not enough interest/will/motivation to defend it with all possible means at that time or because we aren't RA. The analysis should do someone else, who is involved. It's not my buisiness.
I still say it's almost impossible to remove battlestar poses, if the defender uses the RA approach. Imho you need less than 80 pilots in system to safe your pos against anyone and anything, if you use all your advantages.
Noone has ever said that it's impossible to kill battle star poses in general. It was always under the assumption that you do was has to be done, when they are attacked or at least when they come out of reinforcement. So maybe like I said, the will to keep it was not strong enough, system gone.
We/Coaltion/KoS whoever cares or cares not has to live with the situation now.
So if battlestar poses have been taken out, it proves nothing, just that RA used their means in C-J and did enough in C-J to make it impossible with the current game mechanics, which doesn't seem to happen in n7.
P.S.: You wouldn't have seen me there at 4 o'clock during the week, either. I've done that a few days in F7A and sorry, I have enough of that stuff and want to sleep at that time. RA attacks everything everywhere in the night and that goes over months. If I'd always jump out of bed for that, I'd never sleep in the night.

Motivation and dedication, there you have it. As an outside observer this seem to be the major reason why RA manage to do all this where most others fail.

All I can say, is that the fun started when the Goons showed up. These guys like to actually fight. The last couple of weeks have actually been fun.

My poor wife and daughter are about to kill me for that alarm clock ringing at random morning hours. I guess i will have to clean my wallet to buy some nice presents for them again :). It was a good fight. Exploits?- well its always easy to abuse someone. We moved our fleet in, we moved dreads in, we killed about 10 POS...some large some mid some small... It was a good battle. I really dont know where the exploit or cheep tactics is here. I am personnaly gratefulll that some of our enemies show respect and tell the truth. Thank u m8ts. Hope to have more fun with u.

All this talk of alarm clocks reminds me of something that happened in DAoC years ago...
One of the opposing realms couldn't capture our relics under 'normal' circumstances(pre NF), so they attacked on christmas eve. Ohhh the smack afterwards was indeed legendary. heh. (..and yea, it was a pretty pathetic tactic then and still is. Seek help.)

I really love this forum drama. Just to say, good job, achieved mostly due to your dedication to the game being bigger than the defenders'. I myself can't say I'd often wake up at 4 am to shoot poses :)
Anyway, to be honest I'm not too bothered about RA gaining ground. Some months ago someone from RA said that it's good situation for them - a lot of targets.
Well, more RA gets territory more corps who aren't friendly to me seem to come down to 0.0 ;)

Lol its kinda like in asia, some places in this world living in a fantasy world where your the boss, and can have unsanctioned "fun", is a precious treat. Not saying Russia is like this, as thier entire country has changed dramatically since Stalin, but I havent ever been there, it could be. Im just glad its not like that in America ^ ^.
Also dont forget some of RA play eve for a living. They farm plexs all day and sell isk on ebay etc. At least I believe they do, having to fight them out of our plexs 3 times a day.

Maybe the LV/V/KOS coalition needs to sort out its timezone problem.. one gets the distinct impression that you are quite weak at certain times of the day, despite overwhelming numerical superiority during Euro time.
Maybe recruiting some more US or Australian TZ corps/players is the answer?

Every major alliance farms complexes they have access to, its no big deal and quite normal. If they are farming your complexes then stop them. If you are saying its impossible to stop them then that might very well be CCP's fault.. maybe complex's are too susceptible to camping...
What RA do with their isk has little bearing on what they achieve in-game. Infact if they are e-baying it as you suggest then that puts them at a disadvantage as not all of it gets spent in-game.
Sounds to me like you are ****ed off but for all the wrong reasons....

And it's always funny to see an alliance smacking about territory grabbing tactics when they themselves rely on npc controlled stations to survive.

I never said its impossible to stop them, just that is one of the key reasons they play this game so much more hard core than other players, they have slightly more at stake than your average player. The entire coalition wars could easily be called The Great Complex Wars. But by all means keep telling us how much you know about the war weve been fighting for a year+ and how little we know. Lord knows we have had our eyes closed for a long time now. As for KoS, to keep somewhat on track, they fought long and hard, and werent a pvp alliance to begin with. I fought alongside demo during the first stages of the war when we took insmother, and he gave it everything he had. I dont know about the current changes in Kos as I too have been away with irl work for an extended period, but Im sure it was prolly a case of burnout on thier leadership. Not to mention RA + Goons easily outnumbers KoS pvp piltots 2 to 1 or more.

There is a simple solution for that:
Buy alarm clock which has vibrating alert add on.
Its a special vibration device, similiar to the one in cell phone but more powerful. You put it beneath the pillow, and set the clock not to sound the alarm, but send vibrating pulses instead.
Very nice toy not to wake up the whole house, and also gives nice early morning message!
Hope that helps more RA guys to use alarm clocks - the ultimate weapon of EVE!

im playing this game for fun and i personally dont even like the POS spam strategy what Coalition and RA is using to claim regions, but hey who am i to tell what to do :p
But yes, its amazing to see how deticated RA is with Complex runs. 5 tempests will log in at 10/10 complex everytime there is new spawn, 3 times in day. Its like amen in church!
And i think MACTEP dont even have the time to eat some days. Whooaa dont know where they take the time to play eve so much. I wish i would have the time. But noooo here i sit at the work and watching clock to get home and log in :D ammm actually no, today is friday!
imp, goons, d2 alliances arent even close to level of RA, so they realy dont know what they are talking about in this thread, just ignore them!

I'd like to express here my ultimate respects to MACTEP, Death, nync, Mutant and many many other RA pilots for their efforts to get RA out of sh*thole we were in and to lead us to victory.
Additionaly i'd like to express my personal respect to all REUNI0N pilots for their teamwork and dedication they showed and especially - to Zepp and Daira for incredible amount of organisational and logistic work they performed.

I know at least five 10/10s in the south RA inst farming.
Also tbh plexes are great isk I dont see why the fact someone runs them daily would make him an ebayer... especially since it would be easy for ccp to find out and banzor.

See, its like sports a bit. If u want to win something - u need to train hard every day. And sports is called a game too. Same is with the onlinegames. If u want to win in CS - u need much training. For those who dont get it, this is one of the main reasons why RA has been so effective lately. They can field a dread fleet during odd hours and therefore meet much less resistance.
Not to mention RA seem to have alot of people available before downtime during the entire morning, and after downtime as well to run complexes witch is a wery good source of ISK.

I have been away from the game due to RL stuff but following the RA resergence on the forums.
Seems that trying to take the on-line land of the RA is meeting with the same sort of success that RL would be conquers have met with on the soil of Russia herself.

Lil rough m8, I have seen some beautiful russian women, tho I guess if you live in sweden, or iceland, maybe it would appear that way. Yes, i will admit RA is by far the best we have faced when it comes to POS warfare. They have an endless supply of POS material it seems(you should see what we acquired from the several SS's we busted, your jaw would drop).
will we claim again? most definately, but not anytime soon. Plenty of NPC stations around 0.0 atm...

We lived in Curse even before you arrived to the south (c-j6 was taken by Coalition that time) , so you shouldn't tell me how wonderful npc hunting and agent running is there :}}}} Actually, I'm still missing it , and Curse also will ever hold a special place in my heart as there Reunion corporation was formed . We will come back one day , at least I will (still have about 15 fitted BSH on stations, just in case ).

Actually N7 is a very nice system, good in ore and station access. It IS a loss but one hard to have kept from happening understandably due to KOS internal issues and unforeseen coalition/game issues causing the recent RA successes.
though I hold a severe grudge against the 'old' RA political system and their standards their recent successes regardless of how they are accomplishing them are noteworthy.

Anyway, RA's recent accomplishment must be the biggest celebration of commitment seen in EVE. I havent heard of
many others who would set alarm-clocks just to nail an enemy... nor have I ever heard of desire to do so.
Your motivation eludes me.
If I was part of the loosing force (Coalition for the most part), I would seriously fear for the future.
This kind of warfare makes EVE interesting, as it requires more than the usual pack of grunts a sunday afternoon to succeed.
