Your wish can come true ... a battle going on for hours and hours, an epic fight with some of the most experienced PvPers out-of-game, tons of people blobbing one system and it is all totally lag free ... the Copenhagen GankatonÖ Part 8. We are going to stay with our proven and well working strategy of meeting up at suitable bar in Copenhagen and there enforce our macro drinking tactic until the bar is depleted for beer, vodka, and well ... milk. After that bar is stripped for resource TornSoul, and who ever is capable, will move on to the next system, and repeat the process. LFC and M-Corp have already public announced that they will show up in force. When: Saturday the 14th of October, starting at 2000 local Copenhagen time Where: Not decided yet, but we have a serious expert(Treebeard dk) working on figuring that out The GankatonÖ is founded, arranged and sponsored by Clipped Wings(3rd front), Einheriar Ulrich (LV), Golan(MC), Lacrimae(3rd front), TornSoul (BIG/RISE) and well me. But it would not be what it is today without people like Count Tasessine, Treebeard dk and the noob in the red t-shirt Xuina Torre, and you other great guys with names I cannot spell. USS Omaha finally gave in à in other words we stick to the 14th October. In reality it will properly just mean that we start warming up on the 13th and closes in the early morning on the 15th October. That is...quite a lot of people, actually. The previous Beer & Gank, I believe, capped at 83, so that's of course the number we're aiming for. I know of a few people that haven't written here, but are planning to show up, so it's not much until we break the record. A few anecdotes and tips for first-time B&G'ers, the reason some people are talking about making sure the bar is properly stocked up, is because we managed, last time, to empty the bar of draught beer. Much to the consternation of, well, everyone. In particular the UK attendees seemed somewhat nonplussed about it, and I have no doubt that the rest of the barhoppers (that must have felt rather left out among all the EVE players), weren't too glad either. Fortunately, that was the perfect occasion to spring into action, the other tradition at B&G: White russians. I am not entirely certain whether or not we also managed to deplete the bar's supply of milk & Kahlua, but if nothing else, it's always fun to compare the White Russians of the different bars we've visisted. As for time spent and so forth, I can't recall a B&G that ended before the sun was back up. It generally starts fading out at around 6-8 AM, usually with a core of about 10 people left, who decide to stop drinking and get something to eat...As any successful night on the town. So be prepared for a long night, I suggest eating before you go to the B&G, have a good night's sleep before, so you're spared the shame of leaving early, citing "didn't get enough sleep" as your excuse. After all, someone has to eventually challenge myself and Tornsoul for the title of last man standing. Yea, Torn. I R calling j00 out! Anything else? Well, being mid-october, expect it to get a bit nippy, in case you wish to wander outside. When you enter the bar you turn right and should be able to see the stairs to the 1st floor, we've got the entire 1st floor to ourselves, fussball table, projector-screen TV and hopefully some really nice barmaids :) If you want more special beers, just step downstairs and you've got 40 different beers to choose from. Believe me, THIS bar wont run out of beer, if we manage to suck it dry, I'll never drink again and some of you have GOT to be in a hospital :) Cya all there !

Crazy enough, the first guys I asked "Who are you?" were the exact guys I was looking for. :) There indeed was too many trial account players in the end(totally lagging out Heidis V - Toilet Station approach) - although it lead to increased talks about exploits, as quite a few was scanned and determined to have local hulls in high slots. Turns out it can take quite the debate to determine if its a T2 or a Gisti A ass, too. The faction fitted waitresses turned out to have Concord backing and while webbing was possible, scrambling and def. firing was met with instant podding. Perhaps a little to hard conversation jamming from the music, but overall an excellent evening.

But of the people I know, or met, it was nice to meet Zajo, JohnnyWatcher, Demundus, Seek, USS Omaha (or what his name is). Thanks to Mepfisto for letting me crash at his place, AND getting up at 9 am to show me the way to a bus. I, however, suggest that next time, we get a place where we can be eve players only. Maybe a less popular place, where we can get a floor of our own. That's one thing I missed as I came late! USS OMAHA Gallente FATAL REVELATIONS Lotka Volterra	Posted - 2006.10.16 18:46:00 - [209] USS OMAHA & Stigster Big Weekend We arrived in Copenhagen Friday afternoon (nearly didn't make it because N00bie Stigster forgot his passport halfway to the airport, luckily the flight was delayed by 3 hours..pheww) Met up with Einherier Ulrich and Enheriar Glad and went for a meal at Xuina orre's house. His GF, Anne (very beautiful Danish girl) had cooked a great meal and we proceeded to drink Xuina Torre vast Whiskey collection, by 3 am I can hardly focus, so we went back to our Hotel. You got a lovely house Xuina. Saturday we met up with Charlie (ex corp member - great guy) Glad, Ulrich, Xuina Torre and meet up with Treebeard (a personal Hero of mine, he simply is 'Man Mountain'), Trevize (funny and ever cheerful) and some of the M.corp guys for a Steak meal before Gankaton starts. Then we move to the Gankaton, at heidi's Bar...wow the barmaids are impressive, i feel like i should have worn lederhosen, maybe next time hehe. They are all called Heidi, have great heaving bossoms and pigtails. And so it begins....we drink, drink and then drink some more. I cannot remember how many white russians, i lost count. Summary of the evening: Meeting old names in the game, Drilla (atlast we meet, great great guy indeed), Jugger (once again another name I have known from virtual start of Eve, great to meet him finally in the flesh a truly nice guy) Meeting Sir JoJo ( recently returned from tour of duty in Afghanistan, so young yet mature. Anyone who puts himself in the line of fire for country and for freedom has my respect and admiration, someone who I would gladly drink with all night...hmmm infact thats exactly what we did ! ) Meeting, talking and drinking with Clipped Wings (LFC) fantastic guy and a superb show from his fellow corp members, particularly Lacrimae, it's always a pleasure to see,meet and drink with. Zajo...what can I say, beautiful gorgeous girl. I make no apologies for the number of pics with her in them alongside me. Anytime you wanna get married evemail me :). There was not enough drinking time, before i knew it, i could hardly focus my eyes i was so drunk ( i vaguely remember a YMCA song somewhere through the night *blushes) and the night is over for me. Funniest point of the evening, is Sir Jojo buying corona's at the same time as me buying some too from Heidi the barmaid, so now we have 8 coronas and then stigster appears from round the corner carrying another 4 coronas...priceless!...they didn't last long anyways. The following day we met up with Black Reign guys and Lilan Khan and do some net cafe time playing Farcry, still suffering with dehydration and bad hangover i nealry feel sick, but still had a great time. I so suck at Farcry OMG. I am already saving for next year and truly hope you all return to drink with me again. Apologies to any names i missed and im sure there will be a few edits to my post later as i begin to remember more things. I believe i missed Demundus, next time shout me dude. Klezz, where were you? was looking forward to meeting another player I have great respect for, maybe next time. I was a little annoyed with the bar itself, mainly because they were delayed so they opened up 15 mins late (yes ffs, thats 15 mins less with cheap beers so it DOES matter :) ) but what I didnt know was that the place gets SO crowded, had I known I would have picked another bar......although all bars are packed in the weekends. Solution for next meeting is to move it a bit away from downtown but we'll work on that, I was just a little annoyed that the NPC's showed up so soon after we got there. At one point, after my lungs could not blow up anymore balloons, I was very tempted to just shout "hey, you there with the balloon hat" but didnt, I would get the attention from half the bar :) I wont mention any names but all of you I had a drink with, thanx for making my night a great one, I truely had too much to drink. Thanx also to those who helped me look for my missing jacket, for borrowing a phone (Lachrimae) so I could go outside and call my phone in the pocket of my jacket to see who stole it and to them call the police and report it stolen and then calm me the heck down when the bouncer refused to let us back inside the bar "you'll have to wait in line like the rest of the people", "but I just came out to make a call to report my jacket stolen", "do I look like I care?", thanx Lachrimae for keeping me from going nuts !! We came insde, freezing, still no jacket, looked some more for it, my mood was ruined so I said goodbye to all of you and left. Went to central station to catch the last train of the night home at 2am, station doors were closed so went aaallll the way around and found the tracks and the train, got inside, sat down and fell asleep. Woke up when the trainstewardess asked to see my non-exsisting ticket. I replied that I didnt have one because the station was closed, she said thats not true and I asked her to turn the train around and check for herself (still drunk here, heh) said my jacket was stolen and had no money to buy ticket for, she kicked me out of the train, obviously I already passed the station I was suppose to get of at, so went of the train and start walking towards civilisation (at that point of the evening that seemed like non-exsisting and REALLY far away). So after 45 mins I finally found a street that looked familiar. Waited 20 mins to get a taxa, the driver said he wouldnt drive me in the direction I wanted to go as his friend was waiting for him somewhere, I said "you WHAT, dont wanna drive me where I wanna go, what sort of taxa is this?" At that time I was THIS close to blowing up, I was freezing, been outside for 1.5 hours in close to 0C, I was in a bad mood, tired, drunk and the guy tells me after waiting for 20 mins for him, that he cant drive me home..........WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT. So I told him my story and he finally decided to drive me almost home, his friend called him half way home and was yelling and screaming at the guy, I just told him to shut the F up, heh. So I FINALLY got home, passed out at 4am. Woke up at 11.27 sat up in my bed and said out loud F¦ING HELL and thats the time I remembered where I left my jacket, right at the bar on a hook under the bar shelf itself, I moved it from the first location when we start hanging out in the bar and when I at 21.55 bought the 8 large beers. So my point is, the entire night was AWESOME, I'll soon forgot the last bit of it though :) Zajo, you rock girl, I had so much fun and if OMAHA turns you down for marriage, you are welcome here anytime (as long as you stay in the closet when the gf is home :) Thanx all, cya next time !!

You need a place which: 1 û Must be able to take in the area of 100 people on a Friday or a Saturday 2 û The music must not be too high 3 - The beers must not be to expensive 4 û It should be central Copenhagen 5 û It should be free to get in 6 û There should not be too many outsiders 7 û The air should be okay ... not too many smoking Even that we have not yet been able to find a place which making everyone happy, then any of these Gankatons have been great great fun à we will of cause continue our search for just the right place If you have ideas then plz feel free to drop me an eve-mail - Glad
