Oh and that thing about the top 16-alliance voting on pirate implants - nice way to kick all the smaller alliances, not able to buy pirate implants for their team, in ze *******...
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Get someone else to handle these tournaments!
I coulnt agree more.. All the big alliance can prop afford faction BS and get all there pilots with high grade faction implants..
However all the small alliance like E-U or other small ones dont got a chance in hell to get there pilots that..
So before the tournament starts all the small alliance is allrdy in a major disadvantage..
And offcourse Lemonde all the last 16 alliance in the last tournament gonna vote yes for faction implntas, since its all those alliance that can afford it...
I am in the smallest alliance in the tournament.
I can afford high-grade sets of every implant set. I am choosing not to use them as I don't think its worth the isk.
Your alliances have hundreds of people in them, ER owns two stations, TSDS has miners out the nose. You should be able to afford them.
I'm sure both of you guys are smart enough to know the reasons why CCP have them in the tournament. Also, when the votes was cast, nobody else had signed up. Had we signed up then the rules were changed to a 5v5 capital fight, it would have sucked. Well - ok thats not gonna happen, but you get my point.
EQUAL not fair.
The fact that I keep agreeing with Shin so much lately is starting to scare my mates.
The MC has roughly 100 active members. We can afford every trick in the book if we want. Seriously, it's an ALLIANCE tournament. If you want to compete, you should know ahead of time and plan accordingly. Shin's point is 1000% accurate. -

Originally by: LeMonde The rules infraction means a complete loss for IAC, and a 28 point win for Terra Incognita.
The fight should have been stopped the second the container was dropped, and thus the rest of the fight would have been/was irrelevant.
The fight didn't change at all after the can was dropped and scooped almost immediately. As regrettable as the rule infraction is, this ruling is bull****. It doesn't benefit anyone, except for Shin Ra's apparent vindictive nature.
You said the fight didn't change after the can was dropped. This is probably true, we are not denying it. However, you cannot be 100% sure of this fact. This doubt is why you cannot effectively argue your point.
Shin, all 'rules' aside, do you really think you won that match and deserve all the points? I know it won't change anything, I'm just curious. -

Originally by: dalman Cause that would seriously feel something like if he had gone "whooop dee doo, /heal impoc 0, your team dropped a can".
IMO, the whole /heal 0 thing should be changed to maybe just TP the offending ship out of the area. Because, honestly, if the Impoc had gotten /heal 0'd how in the hell would you write that up for the game fiction? Not to mention how pathetically lame it would have been. -
