Issue of Shares - INNOMINATE NEUTRALITY
Due to the large level of rampant demand for equity in my corporation INNOMINATE NEUTRALITY, I have decided to indulge these requests and am pleased to announce this earth-shatteringly entertaining IPO.
INNOMINATE NEUTRALITY is a true innovator in the field of doing absolutely nothing. We are the first corporation to publically declare that the entire purpose of our existence is to neutrally gather dust in a manner that indicates we are not doing anything constructive at all.
This unique business model, which mirrors that of "cash shells" in real life, and our fervent desire to remain utterly neutral, is what has propelled our corporation into the limelight, in a dazzling display of non-achievement.
The funds that are raised with this IPO will be used for undisclosed purposes and we will make a steadfast and binding promise right now, to absolutely not make any promises......
If INNOMINATE NIGHTMARE happens to invest the money in an ingenious manner and turns it into even more money then we reserve the right to declare that a surprise dividend of staggeringly vast fortunes may well be paid to our ecstatic shareholders at some point in the future.

INNOMINATE NEUTRALITY has been divided into 10,001 shares.
The CEO and founder, INNOMINATE NIGHTMARE, will be retaining 5,001 shares, with the remaining 5,000 being made available to the public in this stunning and glittering IPO.
Shares are available at the very low cost of 1 million isk each.
Bulk purchases will result in bonus shares being awarded to the purchaser, as outlined below:
A purchase of 20+ shares will be awarded 1 bonus share.
A purchase of 50+ shares will be awarded 3 bonus shares.
A purchase of 100+ shares will be awarded 8 bonus shares.
A purchase of 200+ shares will be awarded 18 bonus shares.
A purchase of 500+ shares will be awarded 50 bonus shares.
A purchase of 1000+ shares will be awarded 150 bonus shares.
Shareholders may also be able to take part in exclusive votes regarding the 0.0 experiment.

May I also suggest that you use the voting function connected to shares to allow your shreholders some say in what course your future adventures take, much like you did with the poll on your blog.

Share Certificates
Isk has been received for approx 55 shares so far in the first couple of hours, with pledges by people to purchase more.
There are approx 4945 shares remaining and they are going faster than twice the speed of a speeding bullet, divided by zero.....
Since this appears to be a popular IPO, I have decided that it is only right to provide all purchasers with official watermarked, tamperproof share certificates, as proof of their ownership of this most invaluable of equity.
To make this even more fun:
Purchasers of 1-19 shares will receive a BRONZE certificate, 20-99 shares gets the lucky buyer a SILVER certificate and all purchases of 100+ shares will receive a truly exciting GOLD share certificate along with a bonus of 15% more shares, plus the opportunity to brutally pod me in person in a 0.4 or under system of their choice....

This is a SCAM!!1!one!!juan!
After I wired him the 1 million ISK for 1 share, there was an ADDITIONAL, unadvertised 100 ISK CSPA fee just to send him the evemail! He is probably getting kickbacks from CSPA or something!!! 1 million per share may be OK, but 1.0001 is just toooooo much. It's a SCAM I say!

Equity Sale - First 24 Hours
I am pleased to report that the first 24 hours of this amazing IPO, for shares in a company that proudly does absolutely nothing at all, has been an incredible success...
In the first 24 hours, ISK has been received for a total of 453 shares, with just 4547 now remaining.
I am sitting here in my suave pin-striped suit, pink silk shirt and sylish bow tie and have calculated that 9% of the equity that was up for sale in INNOMINATE NEUTRALITY has now successfully sold.

First of all, thank you for your colorful and amusing tale of adventure.
My concern is this:
Not having participated in an IPO, or indeed the purchase of stock in any way, I have no idea of the exact mechanism of the transaction. Are the shares to be issued at the end of the IPO period?
The reason I ask is that I have received neither stock nor acknowledgement of my EVEmail or funds transfer (aside from a 20 million isk debit appearing in my wallet's journal)
The funds were transferred at 17:24 eve time yesterday. I can certainly understand the flurry of paperwork that must be pervading your tiny ship in the wake of this auspicious occasion, and don't mean to pressure you, but I would feel a lot more comfortable if an acknowledgement of my purchase were available.
And yes, I have a frame all ready on the wall of hangar 7 of my corporate HQ to accept the handsome certificate. |
