Hi Rahn,
I stated on the first page that all shares and certificates will be allocated at the end of the IPO, in due course.
When the IPO ends will depend entirely on when I run out of coffee...
I will be sitting down and doing the allocation all in one go (or possibly in two) but would prefer not to issue the shares and design all the certificates in dribs and drabs.
I know you are eager to acquire the valued certificate of ownership and you can rest assured that all transactions are automatically being logged in my wallet by the game as "Player Donation", so I will have a hard copy of who has sent what, in addition to the "SHARE PURCHASE" evemails.
If anyone does not receive their shares after I announce I have sent them, then it is merely a matter of looking back through the transaction history in my wallet to find the record of their payment.
Regarding the frame, I hope you went for a nice golden one...

Purchasers of 1-19 shares will receive a BRONZE certificate, 20-99 shares gets the lucky buyer a SILVER certificate and all purchases of 100+ shares will receive a truly exciting GOLD share certificate along with a bonus of 8% more shares, plus the opportunity to brutally pod me in person in a 0.4 or under system of their choice....
or if Silver - we blow your ship and will try to get your pod ????

Ah, curse my eyes, it must be the pod gel, as I scrutinized your posts and was unable to spot that very tidbit of information.
Part of the attraction of your story is the carefree way you live your life. Unfortunately I am a member of the group that neurotically sweats the small details - keeping reciepts for shield recharges in stations, demanding to know exactly why a station can't extract those last 50 units of tritanium from a recycled whoozits, etc. Despite it being such a trivial sum, the lack of a 'your order has been received' reply to my evemail just made my cranium itch, right near implant slot 8.
I can now rest assured. I will retire to hangar 7 and polish the frame again. It is crafted from a beautiful hunk of Golden Omber that got stuck in one of my mining drone's actuators a few weeks ago. |

Just for you, I logged in to my account and looked through my wallet to verify your transaction.
I can confirm that your 20 million was transfered at the time you stated (17:24), was listed as a "Corporation Account Withdrawal" and was sent in your name, from a corporate account under the name of "Hole Hog".
Now put some elbow grease into that polishing.....

Answering this is probably going a bit off topic for this thread, although I would like to answer in detail here for you anyway, since you posted here:
Whenever my adventure has taken a big turn and has gone in a new direction, there have always been people who expressed complaints/reservations.
At the beginning, a flame war occurred involving a player who believed the whole concept was misguided and that I should never have been in 0.0 in the first place...
When I held a public vote to decide which direction to fly off in, after leaving Venal in the north, people complained that there should not be a vote on such things...
When I spent over a week in ASCN space, some people complained that I was not experiencing 0.0 "as I was supposed to experience it" because I had become friends with ASCN...
Naturally, now that I have gone ahead and issued shares because people requested it, there will be other people who disagree and would prefer that I didn't....
Essentially, whatever I do, and however I do it, there will always be a number of people who disagree.
Personally, I find this to be very amusing because people develop ideas in their minds of my how my experiment "should be", and then react when events happen that do not fit into their mental concept of what I "should be doing."
My objective in my experiment was, and is, simply to explore everything that the EVE universe has to offer, with no restrictions and no rules (aside from not going higher than 0.4 security space.)
Investigating the financial side and seeing what it is like to run a share issue in my own corporation, is simply one aspect of EVE, in the same way that shooting someone at a gatecamp is, or mining veldspar in a bantam is...
It is only your own psychological conceptualisation of what money represents, and the feelings and responses that it creates in your mind, in relation to your interpretation of it, that has caused your adverse reaction to me exploring the world of finance by having a share issue.
There will have been parts of my adventure that you absolutely loved and that certain other players did not.
Variety is the spice of life.....
From people's reactions during my adventures, I believe that the vast majority have enjoyed most of the decisions I have made and the things that I have done thus far, for which I am pleased and grateful. I am also more than happy for people to disagree with decisions I make and things that I try.
I plan to explore of much of EVE as possible. This means that at some point I may well become a pirate for a few days, brutally attacking mining barges flown by n00bs.....
If that day comes, you can be sure there will be complaints by outraged readers who think I should not be doing such a thing. There will be other players who will enjoy reading about it.
Those complaints, however, like the complaints before them, will not stop me from exploring as much of this world as I can, and engaging in as many activities as possible.
I hope that helps your understanding of it more.

Being somewhat above the average age of most pilots I have met I am always trying to keep up with the innovations that todays generations use, therefore I will be sending you one million ISK as soon as possible for one of your IPODS (why anyone would need more than one of these new fangled music listenning devices I an unsure, maybe one of the more Yoofull members could enlighten me)

Dear INNOMINATE,
the GOLDEN share certificate package seems a very good deal indeed! Have you already decided your course of action if the holder was to choose a 0.4 system trapped between 0.5+ systems for the podding? Well, thats just a sidethought

Shi Node, the first GOLD purchase was made yesterday. I was truly astounded!
I have evemailed him and will certainly carry through with my promise to visit the nearest 0.4 to his home system for a nice cosy podding...
However, I suspect he made his large purchase not for a podding, but because he realises that if my corporation becomes profitable and successful, his 100 mil shares already have an 8% bonus on them, which will boost his profits even more.
Having said that though, maybe he did just want to exact a brutal podding......
