ISS Cassini is a neutral for-profit player-owned station run by the Interstellar Starbase Syndicate. We are located in EC-P8R in Pure Blind, just one jump from high security Empire space serving the needs of the Pure Blind and Lonetrek public.
Who would benefit from the services at ISS Cassini?: - Those corporations seeking inexpensive access to Jump Clones. - Corporations that wish one-jump access to the Pure-Blind market - Empire-based corporations that wish access to near-Empire 0.0 space. - Corporations looking to put up a POS for mining, reactions, research, or as a base for 0.0 space operations.
NEW at Cassini:
- 0.0 space starter package: Get an ISS Cassini office + free standings-based services (docking, repairs, etc..) + Jump clones + 50% off the rental price of the first moon. A great way to introduce your corporation to 0.0 space.
- Price of a non-ore bearing moon (for those interested in 0.0 space research for example, or wanting a 0.0 space platform) has been lowered to only 15M/ month.
- ôGood neighborö discounts for Cassini services
ISS CASSINI FEE STRUCTURE:
Jump clone standings - Pay a one time setup fee of 25M and your whole corp can install jump clones forever - 10% fee reduction on ISS standings related services
Good neighbor standings discount - Reduced rates for good EC-P8R citizens (NAP/friends): 50% discount on Standings related services - 10M additional one-time setup fee (after JC fee)
Office Package (limited supply): - One corporation office in ISS Cassini - 100% free standings based services (docking & repair), and other discounts. - First moon monthly rental rate reduced 50% - Jump clones - 35M/month
Rent-a-Moon - Reserve access to one of EC-P8RÆs moons for your POS. - 20M setup fee (once per corp) - 25M/month for mineral-bearing moons - 15M/Month for unmineable moons.
ISS Members: Read ISS forums for more information on special incentives
FAQ:
Q. Where can I get more information on the ôRent-a-Moonö program?
A. Read http://moons.tgrads.com/ ingame. Also Contact ôRonan Teisdariö for more details.
Q. How dangerous is the EC-P8R and itÆs gate?
A. The main danger in EC-P8R is the gate (your POS or the station will give you a protected safespot once inside EC-P8R). ISS does not attempt to systematically pacify EC-P8R or guarantee gate safety. However, the gate regularly changes hands between different factions (including ISS). Having a corp member with an alt based in EC-P8R to spy on the gate, and forming a relationship with a subsection of the population will help solve most gate transit problems. Also gate avoidance can be done by utilizing jump clones.
Q. Will ISS guarantee my protection?
A. ISS does not guarantee the safety of its tenants, visitors, or their assets. It does actively protect itÆs ownership of the station (and the POS providing sovereignty).

So, all the newbies have to do to access all this goodness is get past the most heavily camped gate in EVE? I've seen and been podded by the drooling hordes that infest EC-P8R, and I'd say your services would only be worth something if you could secure that gate. Until you address the situation, your station is just the bait that the pirates are using to get their killmails.
PS: Accept my ISSN application and I will gladly help you do that very thing.

Quite true, all entry points into 0.0 space are dangerous and EC-P8R can be especially so. If you don't have a spy alt on the other side, you are playing russian roulette with two bullets. Exiting EC-P8R to Empire past the gate (with ore/loot) is fairly safe (with an insta and no bubbles) and Pure Blind itself isn't more dangerous than any other 0.0 space. Eventually the gate does clear or have friendlys on it. It's generally a matter of patience.
The advantage of ISS Cassini's services is having an office, POS, jump clones, market, factory, repair yards, etc.. on the other side. You can use Cassini as your staging area and then then the time is right, scoot out (or in) with your goods/ore/booty. To many corps (not all), it will be well worth the very modest fees to get at the riches of 0.0 space.
To make it clear, ISS will not attempt to roll boulders up hills by trying to completely pacify EC-P8R. We aren't responsible for you, however you'll find having the helpful ISS corp presences there will be a nice bonus.

While I support this initiative and the Forces of Freedom alliance regards itself as friendly with ISS, I would like to take this opportunity to remind ecp8r residents that the lower Pure Blind region is inhabited by our alliance.
Should you wish to visit beyond ec-p8r, I would strongly suggest you contact me and organise standings BEFORE flying around. Its common courtesy to say hi to a neighbour before you start a picnic on their lawn...
FOF does not apply a nbsi policy and will not shoot neutral corps. But be very sure that should you be suspected of any act of piracy you will be swiftly dealt with.
Exceptions to this rule are noob corp members. Unfortunatly you are not welcomed in FOF space and are KOS.

What he said. Success in 0.0 space is much easier when you make friends (or at least exchange standings) with some of the natives.

Edited by: Manas'' Agent on 21/09/2006 15:02:28 No, ISS Cassini is unique due to it's location (one jump from Empire) and it's history. This gives it advantages and disadvantages. Only ISS Cassini will have the lower rates for offices and services, and the rent-a-moon program.

Cassini's pricing and policy information is now available in game at: http://cassini.tgrads.com/
For those considering ISS Cassini and EC-P8R, the number of vacant offices still available has now decreased to 7. As for moons, there have been four new rentals, but there are many moons still on offer.
Feel free to contact us at ISS Cassini for more information.

ISS Cassini pays out it's entire wallet in dividends after the end of each month and all shares are in public hands now, afaik. This is a notice on ISS Cassini service possiblities for customers, not a share offer.

Look at your wallet journal entries around 9/1 (I don't have the time stamp with me). If you held shares then and didn't recieve a dividend, sounds like you have solid grounds for a CCP petition. Contact Manas in-game, and I'll try to help sort you out.

I can assure you that they have definately paid dividends every month since they were sold (I believe EGSEX might even have the payout amounts listed, if not I can provide them)

I personally pay out dividends from ISSCA and the other outposts on the 1st of each month, so either someone scammed you, or you failed to notice.

Hi Manas
I was wondering if you could confirm what services the outpost has available to office holders / public.
Obviously, as stated there are Medical and Repair Bay Im interested if you have Labs/Factory similar to other ISS outposts. Or if you plan to add these soon.
Also, does an office rental also include mining rights in EC-P8R and refining services?
Thanks

Edited by: Dr Mccoy on 01/10/2006 20:13:14 Lady Melon,
The station has all services except for refining. It has industrial labs for research and manufacturing which you would use similar to an empire station with much less waiting time and most times instant.
As for mining anyone can mine in ec-p8r as we are neutral friendly and then put their ore in the station. You can then either sell your ore as is at the station or haul it to empire for refining. As with any space in 0.0 there is always a risk in mining or ratting that we cannot guarantee.
The advantage to having an office is no charges on docking or repairs as well as your corp being able to install jump clones and having corp hangers there.
I hope i answered your questions.

Docking & repair fees are 0.2 isk per volume m3 of ship. Then you would reduce those fees by the applicable discount your corp may have.(ie jump clones purchase 10% off)
From memory(not in game right now) manufacturing is 1000 install and 4000isk per hour and research is 1000 and 7000isk per hour.

Cassini slots are also standings discounted, for example 50% off if you have an office. Slot prices subject to change depending upon use, or lack of use, although we haven't recently.

Thanks for the info
ME slots seem a little pricey - however I can understand that people would be willing to pay this for (near) immediate runs.
And at 50% - a well used office would make this much more reasonable I guess.
However, what is causing concern is the lack of refinery - frankly moving huge amounts of ore and minerals each way through that gate is liek playing russian roulette with 4 bullets :(
Is there a possibility or a plan even of adding in a refinery in the future?
It was my understanding that ISS outposts had refineries, maybe I was misinformed?
I will continue to watch with interest :)
BTW - are there any offices left? And can you add more?
Thanks

The outpost is Gallante, so it has no refinery. Both Outpost and POS refineries tend to be inefficient anyways, so make sense only if you are far from empire space.
Moving Ore out isn't too bad.. just collect it at the station, and when the gate has no bubbles, instajump out. Total number of offices is limited to 16, but we still have offices available.
