Currently, Aura's voice is available in multiple different languages, with new German and Russian voices just made. Right now it's possible to choose to always hear the English voice regardless of language settings. Couldn't it be possible to hear Aura speak German while retaining English localization for text? I want to be able to experience the different voices of Aura but still be able to play the game, since I'm only fluent in English. I don't think this would be difficult to implement, and I think it would be a fun "little thing" for players. |

I've given it quite some time, sorry to necro it, but this is an idea I really like and I would rather bump than create a brand new thread. Any thoughts on this though, people? In fact, CCP could potentially add several new languages for Aura for relatively little money or effort, compared to a full-fledged localization.
Actually, come to think of it, what do people think of the idea of Aura being able to speak in Caldari, Amarr, Gallente, Minmatar, or one of the other languages found within New Eden? How cool would it be to have a Caldari Aura in a Tengu and an Amarrian Aura in a confessor? Much like the automatic overview color schemes, language could be based on the ship you're flying. |

To this idea, really will be nice to have game in English (Text) and change Voice to another Language. (If you play game in German you will have German Voice too, but you can force English Voice, but unfortunately changing full Text to English will change Voice to English automatically too and you have no option to force Voice to German for example. |
