example from today afternoon: 3 long range bs vs hac... miss miss, miss, miss, miss, miiiiiiiiissss
Torpraven: javeling torpedo hits ishtar for 45% damage = 340 dmg b4 resists. Add painter to equation and you get 60%. Funny?

The disadvantages of missiles are absolutely TINY, and its really only the instant damage argument that holds water. Missiles are fast, and will still hit the enemy within a few seconds unless he is 160 km away or something extreme like that.
Yes, (t1)Torpedos are uber fast.
Railthron with iron ammo and t2 guns does 200dps

How many interceptors have you killed with your Torp-Raven.

More than with 425mm railguns. You miss cruisers at 30km. Also there are drones on raven, too.

Why don't you all whiners train missiles if they are so uber? Is there anything in eve to prevent you that? I'm really tired to read all this arguments because the main stream of the topic is just to whine.
Personally, I'm training skills from all races, except Ammar, because every race have something special that I want - being weapon or particular ship - and I'm trying to use what best fits to the job I'm planning to do.
I would understand whiners, if there would be no chance to train skills which aren't in domain of the particular race - but hey people, that's not the case - just train the damn missiles and use them (it's faster to learn torp missiles specialization than getting guns to that level).

We have caldari alts with 15mil sp less than mains and it hurts our eyes when they are better than mains.
