We might as well put 7 of them up in advance... Time stamped for every day of the week...
I don't even have any beef with CCP over this, but just make the downtime longer so people know what to expect...

JUst expect downtime to be 2hr instead of one. but yeah this has to be looked at.

Yeah it would be nice to know roughly how long we can expect downtime this week. on the game notice or some kind of material in there,instead of this
Scheduled downtime every day
between 11:00 and 12:00 GMT.

Downtime is understandable but why is there never any reason, appology or an estimated time of when it will be fixed. It is poor customer service.

Read the player news:
To address the recent Tranquility issues, we'll be deploying more than usually of server side hotfixes. As a result, some scheduled downtimes might go past 12:00 GMT and there might be unscheduled reboots to revert the hotfixes if they aren't performing adequately.

downtime can be anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hrs.

but today i've sttopped smoking

extended downtime = incresed forum wh&ing. Time to catch up on who's leaveing the game this week cos of:
1 the big bad pirates 
2 downtime should just be an hour 
3 nerf Nos whine "amarr only weapon" 
4 Lag killed my ship 
Big up to all my homies!!! peace out and enjoy the downtime

How about chillin you guys.
They told us of the hotfixes, it was in the news section if I remember correctly.
The reason they don't tell us how long we can espect it is probably because they have no clue how long each hotfix is going to take.
So why don't we all relax and have a beer and chill over some good music until we wait for em to finish?

the extended daily downtimes are hurting me pretty bad, they cut right into my prime playing hours. I only get leftovers or nothing at all :-(
If they keep server down 3 hours, to me it's same as tho it's down 24 hours

Why don't CCP start a "Service status" thread? Not for us rabble to post to, but just for a Dev (or a minion) to update with glitches, coffee spillages etc...?

Yeah a lot of people are suffering from this, but is probably absolutely necessary so we'll just have to chill and accept that this game, and any other game isin't perfect and never will be.
At least they're applying fixes to problems, which is something we can't say for all MMORPG's ....
