the jump in point from amarr into sarum and irnal into sarum are defo the same you jump in at planet 2 i think you'll know if you jump in even if its not being camped as there is a giant secure container there as you jump in

Quote: Camping the Jump in point is not a exploit, ask GM white yourself. As for the pie message, you are completly wrong there. We run when you guys double our numbers, you wont ever fight a even fight.
So, blasting someone's ship to space dust before this person even has a shadow of a chance to fight back is an even fight?

OK fair point. I will try and make my point this way then....
Its a shame that some people do not know the difference between a Pirate and a griefer.....
*tip* Pirates do not sit at jump in points 1 hop from a noob starter system and gank anything and everything that comes through the gate.
Ok just to rebutt what has already been said here by a certain party....
No, it's not an exploit, it's just low down, dirty, rotten, slimey tactics. Not to mention morally reprehensible, and beneath most people.
There I said it, does that make me a carebear or does it make me a person with higher moral standards than others? In fact dont bother to answer I already know what certain parties will call me |

later that day in Waterloo...: Wellington : So, Napoleon, do you have the same number of soldiers as me? Napoleon : Not really... we have alot more, and i mean ALOT Wellington : Men! lets RUN!!
How can you 'even' a fight... its impossible. In my eyes you (the pirates) are pathetic. i can live with the fact that pirates are ingame so you'll have to live with the fact that someday a large fleet of players will come to kill you.

Actually he didn't even scratch a single Armageddon. He focused all of his fire on the single cruiser that was there and failed to destroy it before he was in a pod.The cruiser docked and made repairs and is still in service.

Quote: What irritates me about this situation is from a roleplaying/realistic viewpoint. (At this point ya'll can take that "Carebear" **** and shove it). For those of us trying to get immersed in the storyline and other facets of the game, the mere fact that such an operation can be mounted AND SUSTAINED over any lengh of time in one of the home systems of a major House, especially the most militant one, is extremely jarring.
In any sane and serious rendering of this game, such a system should be so heavily garrisonned and patrolled by the Amarr Navy, and House Sarum private forces that any unauthorized activity should be observed and INSTANTLY met with overwhelming force. ESPECIALLY at the Jumpgate to/from the Amarr system itself!
Yeah, that was my gripe too, just picture the Succession Board looking over each heir's qualifications regarding their stance on piracy..
Jamyl Sarum "I vow to keep all of the empire as safe as I do my home system!" or "Well, I'd like to sweep in with the military forces at my command, but my home has been declared a .4 system, so my hands are tied.."
Oh yeah, I want this woman as the next Empress

Welp, guess he didn't but anywas, good for you. But don't pat yourself on the back so much, u did have 3 battleships shooting him while he had blockading equipement on, no one will last very long with that on. ---

You try to kill people before they even have a screen loaded. Don't pat yourself on the back either, exploiter.

As much as it pains me... Tank CEO is right he is neither a cheater or an expoiter.
That said. Take a look at this thread and see if you like the idea. http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=40061

No danger though, he can't even kill an Iteron Mark II.

Edited by: Tharrn on 23/10/2003 23:23:47 No, but they are employing *very* lame tactics... like tonights alt spy in a n00b corp. Whoever it was, he didn't believe me that I did not loose Amarr standing for pod-killing him. Here's the screenie, voila... my new sec rating of 0.5 is shown (3.4 before) as is my Amarr standing of 10.0.
We don't expect pirates to take 7 vs. 1 fights, but some sportsmanship would be nice.

Brag all you want sweety pie, just a note that you are 50km away and that there were other battleships approaching. I didn't really care to kill you. Also, fire power isnt everything sweety pie. ---

"Please edit your post and add "IMHO" to the above line.It might be your opinion that its an exploit, when in fact CCP has cleary stated it isn't."
I don't need to add "IMHO" because CCP have clearly stated that jump in points are supposed to be on the other side of gates near sentries. Because they're not working like that then taking advantage of the bugged jump in points is exploiting that problem.
I really couldn't give a **** if people are doing it as I'm careful when I jump into systems but it annoys me when people state thats somethings not an exploit when it is.
Its just one that CCP can't or doesn't want to penalize people for at this time and it will be FIXED (meaning its broken currently) in the next patch.

Although there should be SOME piracy within Empire borders it certainly shouldn't be happening at Sarum Prime !!

Aye, as I said elewhere, if this is how well Sarum looks after her own system, I pity the empire if she wins the championship.
As for BioMass, I've run from them and seen them run, they have no intention of fighting fair, (As evidenced by my shield damage before i'd even logged into system) and neither do I.
