Hi, what ship out of all the frigs, dessy's and gallente/caldari cruisers would you recommend to use for popping drones and what setup would you put on it?

Caracal with assault launchers. Possibly with FoF missiles, if you don't want to target each one individually (but I don't recommend FoF)

I'd consider a Thrasher with a smartbomb and autocannon mix, or maybe a Rifter with a similar config. It depends if you want to be killing drones that are after your mates or killing drones that are after you.

Fight fire with fire....use a vexor.
You and your drones focus fire on one drone target at a time...pop.... next target...pop...etc

Your smartbombs will hit your drones, your missiles, and those of your friends - along with their ships. Bad IdeaÖ
ArtiThrasher is really nice for the job - unless someone shoots at it (but not Caldari/Gallentean). I didn't fly their destroyers, but ...
Caracal looks like a cruiser on the Overview, so it is probably of higher priority.
Basically all cruisers can be used for the job - drones are always of frigate size, so use some small guns for the job.

The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing.
