Just wondered, could we have a count of the number of Capital ships currently built in Eve, and for that I mean:
Frieghters = ?
Carriers = ?
Motherships = ?
Titans = ?
For Motherships and Titans it would also be nice to find out which races have been built.

Freighters- Hundreds possibly above 1 thousand
Carriers- Deffinitely in the hundreds but will start slowing down since they cant be used in plexs anymore
Motherships- Im gonna guess under 20
Titans- 1

Frieghters = Five Hundred and 50 (550) (<-- no idea LOL)
Carriers = One Hundred and Ten (110)
Motherships = Seven (7)
Titans = Three (3)

Altough there may be more Titans that got built than we know about.

Why shouldn't we get a count?
Dev's seem happy to give us other information regarding Eve (T2 Bpo numbers and status) all you have to do is ask.

Would be nice info to be honest.. Although we know that if a dev says something like i.e. 5-6 titans, then the forums will go awol with rumours etc of who actually has them :P
But a count would be nice..maybe not for the freighters since its just TOO MANY of em, but for the rest ye, it'd be cool

Freighters = I'd estimate around several hundred
Dreads = same as freighters, maybe 1,5x more
Carriers = lots and lots of them since people used them for lvl4:s and they're not really that expensive. 400? 500?
Motherships = limited need, limited availability. I'd estimate around 35-50
Titans = We'll see in a week or so.

A single Dev count of capital ships would do more for starting wars than anything else!
But I would Guess

I'd say 2500 freighters, 500-1000 carriers, 500-1000 dreadnoughts, 5-10 motherships, and 2 titans.

not that i have a clue... AT ALL
but id gues more than 10-15 mothershipps, that seems to be the common thought..
id say 20-30 atleest.. O_o
but then again.. i still got NO clue at all..
its about the same thing that theres 1 (comonly)known titan in the game now.. theres most likely more.. 2-3-4-5 or some thing.. lol

I'd say the Carriers are a LOT higher then people think. I mean... Hell.. I'm in a 5 man corp, and I'll be getting a Carrier and a Dread in the next few months.
Capital ships are not out of the reach of the normal everyday char. IF they are willing to spend the Skills and ISK on them.
I mean.. a Billion ISK for a Dreak is only a few weeks of ratting. A LOT less if you get corp members to help out financially.
I see a LOT of people useing Carriers for cargo haulers. So I have a feeling that it's closer to 2500 Carriers in game..
Dreads are also quite common. Though seen more in the larger alliance's.
