The Art of War
I've been an avid follower of Sun Tsu's Art Of War. I re-wrote it as a guide for my corp and its activities during war, and use it as the foundation of my strategy.
Some people seem to feel that the 'art of war' is to go toe to toe with your enemy, engage in battle and may the better pilot win. Nope, that's not the case. In fact, the main proponents of such a foolish strategy are usually those who think they have the biggest ****s... I mean, the biggest ships.

ok lemme set some things straight yes we war dec'd u a 50 man corp easily outumber us then u ransom us then u say where gonna lose yet u where always in frigz or shuttles hiding from the fights after a week or so of hiding u went and joined a 500+ member alliance then smack talk when we retract like it was all your doing when infact it was the other 500 members of namtz that fought us u just ran and hid the whole time so stop talkin al the glory from namtz as much as i do not like them it was there doing so go hide and smack somewhere else

Pirates and honour
I was having a conversation with a friend yesterday, who is also the CEO of another pirate hunting corp. He's a very honourable fellow, and believes that honour is the most important element of a corp's actions. He believes that without honour, it's simply a pointless exercise. We had an interesting debate.
He believes that the anti-pirate that chooses to fight with honour is far better than the anti-pirate who chooses to fight without honour. His opinion is that it's better to die with honour than to survive without.
That just doesn't make any sense to me.
It doesn't make sense to me that some people believe that choosing to fight while knowing you're going to die is better than choosing alternative tactics in order to survive and win. He disagreed with the tactics I used, going back to the concept that it's better to fight than to hide.
What is the point of fighting though, if you know you're going to die? What is the point?

I'm curious, what is your reason for hunting pirates? My initial goal when I became a pod pilot was to be a bounty hunter and defend the innocent, track down evildoers, that sort of thing.
Didn't really turn out, but that's neither here nor there.
Pirates tend to have a lot of fighting experience, albeit most of it against inferior opponents I would think, so fighting them can be exciting and a good learning experience.
Anyway, your last post just made me curious as to your reasons.

Essentially, I want to help make EVE safer for all pilots, one way or another. The goals of the corporation I built for that purpose are as follows:

This thread is hillarious... in a lot of ways.
I see you joined Namtz, BC. What a great idea that was - I wonder where you got it? At the end of the day it got you out of the war so whatever. I knew I was target #1 in that war but that wasn't why I left. I left to be a pirate. If I was going to be single-handedly blamed for war, Bones bailing, and the decimation of my own corp, I might as well just go all the way and get my pirate on, considering I was a pariah in my corp in the end. The self-righteousness just makes me sick.
Now I guess I'm T'Renn the smacker. That's not me, but whatever. I had a great 1v1 vs. Nerdalus the day before the podding incident. I wish I hadn't podded Nerdalus which got that whole ball rolling - that's what got him angry. I would have probably saved some time by podding you and joining his corp. I doubt GP and Nerdalus would have bailed on a corp member like you did.
It seems like I'm in a good corp now. We've got a good CEO who doesn't sacrifice dignity for false honor. I embrace my pirate brethren now, and I can only hope I roll up on you in a belt sooner than later.

Sooner or later, you are are going to have to acknowledge your expenses. You simply can't escort haulers into lowsec and back and not ask for a fee. You can call it a contribution, but it all boils down to economics.
Great idea, however I can't see it flying far.

Well said and i am glad that you have joined a corp that will benefit you, and the way you play EVE. I am sure now you can see what a true PVP corp is all about now, instead of a Role playing corp that doesnt play.

I must say i was looking fwd to reading your blog, as my main char is a bounty hunter and I know how hard it is to achieve success in that field. I started reading your posts. Started out ok, but then, when you singlehanded wiped out a pirate corp into oblivion, I stoped reading. It wasn't an anti-pirate alliance that wiped them out, it was you! Flying arround in a shuttle, "irritating" your enemyes to dead, that brought them down to their doom.
Your war tactics and your leadership skills are already a myth in EVE. Keep up the good work, I see a bright future for your gloating self in EVE. Those who assume the conquests of others as their one, usually get away with it. Just a question of getting enough publicity.

This is a game O.o the most fun = best way, most fun = most kills .
Thats how I see it anyway, diplomacy is just a small part of eve, PVP is the thing that really makes me stick to it , and I know, obviously, many others...so, thus PVP should be the main ingredient in winning any and all wars and the KIll Ratio decides the winner whoever retracted ;)
