We are not the best PVP'ers that is a pretty easy argument for you to make, but if thats the case you shouldn't need to ask for what ostensibly can be taken by force of arms. No this is a pridefight, and BOB doesn't think that ASCN has any pride. I'm sorry but you can say that I suck at PVP, but you can't say that I'm not proud to be in ASCN. You can't expect me to lose pride and give up on day one, it's an insult. Kill me if you must but don't insult me, I joined CLS because I wanted to. I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't looking to do better, I didn't settle. I joined this corp because I wanted to, I stayed with it because I wanted to. I wasn't trying to rack up enough credibility to move on to bigger and better things, I wasn't trying to pad a resume to let me get into another corp. I don't want to be in BOB. Lemme say that again. I DON'T WANT TO BE IN BOB! Thats where the pride comes in, you like to think your leet, you like to think your the best and everyone aspires to be just like you. A happy and peaceful land full of Hobbits insults you, it insults you as hard and as deeply as you can be. If indeed we were out there building our own little home, and living our own content lives in it. It would mean that your not the inexhorable kings of Eve, your not playing the game the way its meant to be played, your not that utterly incontestable force at the absolute top of the game. Your just a bunch of guys, who like having fun with thier friends. Same as everyone who pays a subscription, same as ASCN. You honostly believe that your better then us, which tells me that you don't have quite the uncontested mastery that you think you do. Your NOT the exclusive club that everyone wishes to be in and your not parogon's of Evehood that everyone aspires to be. I don't wanna be in bob, I rejected the offer when my friends in Bob tried to recruit me, and I reject this offer as well. I don't wanna join your club and I don't wanna be like you, I've seen way too many people go over and turn into killboard groupies and I've seen way too many people go over and get very very smug about it. Theres not enough isk in the game to make me join Reikoku. I wouldn't enjoy it, sorry. I have a place I'm comfortable at and people I'm comfortable with, If I die for being in ASCN I can deal with that. If ASCN gets crushed so badly that all my friends quit I'll quit as well and not feel any regret. You can't win EVE Molle, its just a ride that you take with your friends. You play to be in BOB, I play to be in ASCN. So like I said, kill me if you must... but don't insult me. Oh and Molle, ASCN can live without thier pride and without thier reputation. Can Bob? That even is very documented on these forums. From what I see here, BOB are doing log-off/on tactics as well. BOB might be doing it diffrently, I don't know, but I do know this. The effect seems to be the same. I highly doubt my fellow ASCN pilots are doing this (some might have adapted) because there are standing orders not to use log on traps and lag creation stuff. Believe me when I say that ASCN's enemy number one is LAG. LAG and our way of dealing with it seems to be the worst combo in the world. AAA (RAT. and they're friends) have never shared the 'secret' with us to beat the lag. Atleast I haven't gotten that before now. Logging on and logging off to clear cache and memory leaks. Through the ASCN petitions (I canceld all 5 of my accounts after the RAT/SE insident in the pipe, where the faults of EVE got me to bluescreen inside) we learned that RAT./SE tactics was legal. We have also learned that convoing a person exiting a station 10 times so he get warp scrambled by 'convo invites' are legal. Logging in is not a crime. keeping 50-100 frigs and 100 drones inside a POS shield are not a crime. (Not a crime = CCP won't do anything about it). Now, our good friend Gob have asked BOB here in a nice maner to agree to a gentelman-rule to deal with node crashes. He have been laughed about, flamed and ridiculed. BOB says : "no, because we want to win, and we want to kill you when you can't do ****, because that is fun for us" Well, this is my PERSONAL response to BOBs two edged sword : "Since winning , even if using unintended eve-game mechanics are OK by BOB, then I will be no better. RAT. / SE / BE have trained me well in questionable fighting. I can adapt to" Now.. what I really need to put my money where my mouth is, are internett through something more stable than a cell-phone.

Then after it goes on for a few turns they don't really make any progess so they tear up some tiles around the city. Then when it hits them they're not going to accomplish anything they start trying to make peace demands where you have to give them a city as part of the peace deal. amazing how events in one game sound so familiar in another.

Well, in CIV4 your defending troups might have some expiriance if you built barracs and computer might not have. Anyway...this space is too crowded. Imperial Academy need more pilots i heard. Celes's goals are to have fun, enjoy eve and get lots of fights so I think we have achieved what we want from eve. On a seperate note its a shame bob doesnt have a forum posting rule for its members, the leaders make such good posts and arguments (Galavet 4tw tbh) but members like yaz sam really let the side down imo. Gl to both sides I really hope the nodes hold out so u can get some decent fights.
