ASCN wont be defeated, I would be suprised if they even lost territory to be honest. A siege? Oh noes, it's not as if ASCN/AXE can take it back whenever BoB decides to move to the next area. BoB are up against an alliance who got a daily income of ISK of 75-100b or around there (Basic maths, not more then 15-20m generated ISK per member in that alliance is needed to reach such huge sums). Simply losses of BS's and even a few outposts wont even budge that kind of an economical monster. And with that Titan, ASCN can just jump portal swarms of indies and friegthers to empire, if BoB can even seal of the gazillions of entrypoints, which I highly doubt. You need a few more then some 1,000 accounts to do that, as well as keeping the conquered territories.
Taking down the monster that is ASCN+AXE cannot simply be done unless BoB manage to inflict extreme moral problems which might eventually break the alliance up, but I seriously doubt it. Economically, meh, I doubt a hundred capital ship losses would even affect ASCN as a whole. And I'm pretty sure BoB knows this, or they got some overgrown e-peens to cool down
I'm rather sure their objective is just to get the first titan kill and maybe some motherships, winning the war just wont happen. I'm not sure if ASCN will be able to inflict any damage either, but you'll see both alliances around after this conflict, probably only strengthened as defending and attacking with such huge forces gives experience unattainible by other means. Which atleast gives this war a point, since there wont be any damage to the alliances after the conflict.
Meh, laying siege to some outpost? Rather boring, this is first gonna get interesting when ASCN/AXE launch their first triple frontal 500 man blob assaults accompanied by capital ship inferno, now that's gonna give us some pretty cool crashes, and hopefully some nice fraps too.

I do wish the staff would look into the loot tables on these ASCN spawns.... so far the only named loot they are dropping is stabs :(
While those are purdy and everything we dont use em so we just trade em off.

Tell me the thread Drakma tried to start, with good intentions, didn't get turned into a smackfest by BOB until Cyvok put his official stance up on the accusations.
And as for sitting it out until the alliance is gone.... LOL. If it weren't for RL commitments I'd be in fighting right now.. There are a lot of people in ASCN that know I'm not shy about fighting even if I do lose sometimes. Dying a lot doesn't scare me. I'm not the best PVPer ASCN has I fully expect to die... but I'm not afraid to fight and fight I will.

The thread drakma started, whilst good intentioned, was always going to ring hollow until ASCN leadership actually went on record stating that they would not exploit game mechanics to gain an advantage.
That it took 24hrs of berrating, for Cyvok to actually make his final statement after a catalogue of forum blunders, was the surprising part.
There is a world of difference between being "smacked" about and creating a situation, whereby anybody with a brain cell can call you out on stuff you shouldn't be doing.
ASCN still need to find a PR consultant to keep them from putting their feet in their mouths.

mm.. maybe he was tied up doing other things... like possibly actually fighting BOB in system plus trying to take care of real life obligations? We apologize real life interferes sometimes and official responses about policy in a game have to wait for such things.

His response was clear... "nodes would be crashed if the server performance did not suit him"...(or words to that effect)
It then took another 10+ hours of berrating for him to make his final post clearing the mess up.
Its dealt with now, but pls don't make it look like the whole episode was anything but your own silly fault.

No offence meant but is there a reason you KEEP posting? I dont mean to offend or flame but it seems (although you may not have the intention) that you are adding fuel to the flaming! Its stuff you are saying thats riling up others and starting arguments. If yu want a part in the war why dont you apply your 1-man corp to BoB, then you might have a reason to keep posting.

No one is interested in your "Grassy Knoll" theories on our battle tactics. It's clear that all you want to do is rear your head in every thread and tell every one "I'm right". As someone that has been actually subject to ASCN fleet commands, I actually KNOW that my orders are not to do anything that could be considerd an exploit, with the penalty for exploiting a quick podding and removal from corp/alliance. If you want to fight on the forums that is your choice, but if you should choose to back up your words for once. Hey at least you chose a fitting name for your corp and what it would be turned into should the Black Spot. gang err fleet ever show its face in fey.
Once again the point was that we would not give our space away due to server stability, we would in fact bring every available pilot to protect what we built.

For crying out loud. Instead of pointing fingers why don't YOU try thinking of the obvious so _I_ don't have to point them out to you.
On a side note.. interesting tactic BOB is using of jumping into camped gates and logging off to escape the camp... and which oddly enough is enough of a resource draw to crash a node. And since they are already logged off they are able to start logging back on immediately to get at the beginning of the queue... so much for honor.
