Ok Ok Ok I know its an old whine but it still really peeves me off.
Just because we have 60 pilots on the killmail doesnt mean they all shouldnt be listed due to truncation of evemail messages :(
Is it REALLY that hard to just recode the Evemail msg length to say 4x its current size ? or put a check statement that says if its a incoming killmail allow larger file length ?
Cmon CCP a lot of pilots are missing out on the killboards because of this.

Lets get rid of the killmails and free up some of those precious CPU cycles on the servers instead.

If you use 60 pilots to kill a single target then the killmail should go straight to hell, where it belongs.
PS: remove killmails and shrink those e-peens

Put it like this: when there's THAT many people on the killmail, do they really DESERVE to be on it?

Have player tags that can be looted to show you killed the player :)

I'm not so worried that someone doesn't get on a killmail, but that the destroyed loot list gets truncated.
I once had a hauler full of stuff because I was moving, it got blow up. And the lossmail got truncated, so I didn't know all the items that were destroyed so I couldn't replace them all. I know it might seem dumb, but I like everything tidy and in order.

I think killmails should simply say you lost ship X to players A-Z flying ships A-Z. Don't need to see the alliance, corp, and time for them, or even the weapon really.

That's because those other items weren't destroyed and were sitting in the loot can.

I meant it like if your in a 100 vs 100 and then the same 60 get on 25 different kill mails.
And no we can't do multitasking since we are all old hairy men...
