Would it be possible to have one or two blades put aside and have raffle tickets for them? I'm not sure about others but i had to save up for some time to get my hands on a ticket for fanfest not sure i will be able to win any bidding wars when i do get there. I don't know how much they will auction for it would be nice to buy a ticket and have a chance at a great piece like this.

Aw, as much I'd like to have this, I already have two HP DL380s (a G6 and a G7 respectively with dual Xeons and 32GB of RAM in each).
Allow me to be frank. You will not like me. You will not like me now, and you will not like men++ a good deal less as we go on.

I would like to see a new Server **** devblog discussing the current and upcoming hardware specs, as had been previously done. |

Quote:Our Operations team are currently planning some significant upgrades to the hardware that supports the Tranquility cluster in order to improve overall game performance and to make your experience with spaceships even more pleasureable.
Could you please during fanfest 2015 (or in a dev blog) give us an update on:
the status of the Brain-in-a-box status on moving the code from Destiny Dispatcher to multi-threading Regards, a Freelancer
The players will make a better version of the game, then CCP initially plans.

- What size are they? How much do they weight?
- Do we have spec or model or any information on the hardware?
- I'm assuming it'll come stripped of all hard disks?
- You'll have to take them home from Fanfest with you.
- They're 30mm form factor blades, so they'll easily fit into a suitcase or large carry on bag and weigh about 2kg at most.
- They're LS20 model blades.
- Hard disks are still fitted to most of them, as far as I'm aware, but they'll be auctioned as seen.
Oh, pretty!

I've already spoken to operations about this, and when the time comes, there will be server hardware blog sexy times!

In the days of terrorism and overactive airport security. What fun.. walking through customs with a server blade discretely placed in a suitcase - Declared or not, airport security is gonna have a field day with you.
Be sure to use the toilet on the plane before disembarking - Being escorted to the loo in handcuffs once you've landed is not fun.
My opinions are mine.
