Madbuster73 Shadows Of The Federation 0	Posted - 2011.12.01 12:21:00 - [1] - Quote So finally CCP decided to fix Faction Warfare. They started of with changing the way how FW Complexes (known as plexes) spawn. Plexes used to spawn right after DT, giving the Caldari a big advantage since Caldari have much more players online in that timezone then the gallente. Since the Expansion plexes now spawn in all systems and Outposts will always respawn 30 minutes after completion. This removes any timezone advantage and all players can now run plexes no matter what timezone your in. Gallente Militia is very happy with this and started plexing like crazy and taking over Caldari systems as we speak. However, Caldari Militia is not very happy with this, since they lost Timezone advantage, and I haven't seen them around doing any plexes since the expansion. Did the Caldari Milita give up? I hope so, giving us Gallente the opportunity to do something unheard: taking over ALL Caldari systems :D Also there is more that need to be fixed, read this article about it: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=37680&find=unread

Gallente can occupy Caldari space for 6 months, get a nice medal and stroke their wangs ceaselessly and the Caldari can complain how it's completely different this time and the Gallente used an unfair mechanical advantage to gain a meaningless storyline victory, while the Gallente twirl their moustaches and say it's all legal. Alas, it's been my observation that most leader types leading big fleets would hardly ever take a fleet into a single plex unless they get three of the following things (preferably first) a) pvp b) chocolate cake c) blo.job I honestly dont think you will get any plex fights from Caldari, even when you go and start flipping Enaluri (didnt seem to be much over Nennamaila either). It would simply require too much self-initiative and effort from people.

That's the outcome of couple of years of "screw the plexes" attitude which has been effectively spread in past two years in militia comms. While I don't think the change is all that great...its a bit better because at least now everyone has the opportunity to plex and flip systems if they want to. 2-3 of us were able to flip nen in just a couple of gaming sessions...so maybe its a bit too easy, but at least we have the option to do it now. Is sexy time?

It is certainly bit too easy by to looks of it. Would probably be best if mechanics would simply at every dt determine the amount of plexes spawning during the day there, between say 7-15 or 10-15. That would mean all systems would require at least couple of days of work to flip and enable some prepared response. But whatever, the blobs will eventually die down if Caldari get the idea of retaking systems. Then frogs either put effort to defend their ill gotten gains and stop attacking or they will have to send part of the attacking force to deal with people taking their systems and both sides will get more or less equal fights (with caldari defenders hopefully being able to use npcs to make up the difference. Being outnumbered also usually teaches you to be better in pvp). That is of course in theory and in perfect world. Which Eve is hardly a simulation off...

I bet that after couple days some people may wake up and join the fun, other hand missions FW missions are quite tempting. We will see what happen.

Also Damar, this means you giving up? plz say so as we in Gallente will throw a party at your behalf.

And still gets butchered when he goes against 2 faction cruisers, blackbird, rupture and crow in five faction cruisers, falcon, comet and said t3 links. Clearly we are to be considered fail in such cases. You should also remind your Snuff box allies that attempting to hotdrop inside a plex is bad idea, m'kay.... and will never pull it since he is never inside a plex to get standings/promotions when it's capped, thus maintaining high caldari standings. falcon/comet not shown on killmails as it failed to get into any

So yes sacrifices where made and we warped in one by one from nis to keep you from jumping that gate. Looks like it worked cause as far as i remember oin says gallente now. We invite you to do that same battle on a gate again with the same ships and see what the turnout will be then. Sorry that all your plexing effort you did these last 2 years are all whiped out 3 days after a new patch. I for one am happy that the stressfull undermand after dt struggle is over for caldari and i hyope to see you again on the battlefield defending those systems you've worked so hard for. gf m8

Post-dt advantage only meant we had time to ninja some plexes and fight over some before overwhelming Nisuwa blob was put forth. .

Ahhhh EvE where Purple is Orange and Orange is Purple! +1 Vote for not caring about plexes but being wiling to do them if there is a decent fight to be had. There are exactly 0 repercussions to losing a system. I do not role-play on EVE. If I wanted to play in a way that was all about taking and "owning" systems...I would go to 0.0 where I can take and "own" a system and mine to my hearts content. Also I do not like warping into a plex at 0 and being pelted by Nexx's Tengu at 100km...it displeases me :) Enjoy controlling Enaluri and all other space. Let me know how many medals you accrue. When you get bored and switch back to CalMil or Amarr or Minnie or whatever and cap all space for that faction please remember to post about it so everyone knows. Enjoy Space! -DP P.S.
