Phrixus Zephyr Singularity.	Posted - 2006.10.06 00:08:00 - [61] It's not a legitimate tactic at all. Its just too much hassle and virtually impossible to track and follow up by the GM's. Dev's themselves have publicly stated how much their hate and loathe people who use logging tactics, but they can't do a thing about it. ...and stop blabing about it being a game mechanic to be utalized. It isn't a game mechanic at all, it's you 'leaving' the game. What's the point in dictor bubble's being able to scramble everything if you just log till you get more number. It destroy's the entire point of dictor game mechanics. No matter how much you reason it, RA will always be known as the alliance that can't win a fight unless it log's and can't maintain an alliance without exploiting broken NPC's. It will remain so until you stop doing it.

The only reason why it is done on such a large and rampant scale, is because CCP "says" that "there is nothing wrong with it", "they can't do anything about it", "its not an exploit". Forget a moment about the fact that they cannot without a doubt tell when a person logs on or off on purpose or accident. Its much simpler then that. If CCP would just come out and officially say that it is an exploit, that they do not allow it, and that they will punish anyone that does it, then it would greatly cut down on the amount of incidents. Also forget the fact that people who continue to do it and get away with it even after CCP would/could take such a stance. The simple act of them stating officially that its not acceptable, and that it is against the rules will automatically stop many people from doing it. You do also "kritical" Tactics but you have good ideas in the fights. Like WO- was nice and you was better. We dont have fear to say: "...hey....RA...that was a nice fight and we lost...". But this fights like today arnt honored and i wonder myself how you can point proud on your killboard count. Ok thats not so big a problem when they logoff at safespot or in station. We all need to do that. Problem with this particule case was that they logoff in sphere bubble and for using this tactic they avoided fight what by the game rules shouldnt had happened. Its game bug for not getting agro timer on if you are cloaked in sphere bubble. Thats not RA¦s fault. But its so LAME to use game bugs for your advantageous. Many games have their bugs but people dont use them! Its a shame to not play fair and afterwards say that "but game allowes it and we use it" its like playing Doom with godmode on :P (game allowes it) CCP should fix this problem ASAP. If you are in system no mather if you logoff cloaked or not you should get agro timer on when you get shot at. And if you are in bubble you should already be with aggro timer.

Just adjust it so they can still jump a gate if they choose not to fight but make it so they remain in space for 15 min after bubble contact.
