However, the sites that I hacked in WH's were faction sites, that were not guarded by NPC's. There are also sites that are guarded by sleepers, like Unsecured Perimeter or Forgotten Perimeter and maybe more. Together with some friends I want to go to such a site, try to kill the sleepers and then hack the containers. I found on the EveUni wiki information about the sleepers and their fighting abilities, and while we're still rather reserved about our chances, we still want to try it and see what lessons are there to learn and riches to discovered. If we overwhelm the sleepers and succesfully hack the containers, what kind of loot can we expect? In some WH's I find faction sites that drop about 25-30mil in various loot and sometimes a blueprint or two. Is the difference in risk reflected in the loot that can be found in guarded sites?
Thank you all. Since some of the recent changes, Nullsec class data/relic sites will spawn in C1-C3 class wormholes. Those are named by one of the pirate factions (Blood/Sansha/Guristas/Serpentis/Angel), and of course there are the regular Sleeper sites (Forgotten/Unsecured). The pirate faction sites are not guarded by Sleepers, and can worth a lot of money (Managed to get 50mil out one site, lost a 20mil container). But despite their worth, I would still skip the data sites, since they are not worth a lot. If you can, bring a cargoscanner and scan all the data containers for Decryptors, skillbooks (not Encryption methods), datacores and Blueprints. Though, there seems to be a 3rd kind of sleeper sites, starting with Abandoned, however I've ever only found it once. It was not guarded (no wrecks either) and yielded full sleeper loot (was before Odyssey) - However I haven't been able to get this confirmed that it's actually a thing, despite me finding it, WH Class unknown.
Good luck, and happy wormhole hunting o/ Fly safe!
EDIT: Small wormhole tip: Having a wormhole mapper can be really useful, and I would personally suggest Tripwire/ |
