is it possible to move ships from one station to another? Right now i've got every kind of amarr frigate there is but they're all in different stations and its starting to get on my nerves making 10 jumps to get my quicker ship (the exec) to do a few agent missions then having to make another 15 to get back my punisher etc.

Thanks in advance

Buy a "Shuttle" (available at almost every station for about 10k) and travel to the destination. Change ships and sell shuttle on the market there. Travel back with new ship.

Hi Cubepusher.

There isnt any way of transporting a ship to a new location without actually driving.

But the solution to this is to but a shuttle(10k isk only), drive to the system where your other/new ship is. Switch to it and put the shuttle to a sell order. Then drive it home. Do this with all your ships and you will soon have them all at the same station.

That will be the fabled "InterBus" system. Which is, still, apparently on it's way. Eventually.

Reportedly, you will simply pay a high fee to have goods shipped to you automatically.

More details on InterBus can be seen in the old Peek of the Week, located here:

Although I think this point only pertains to shuttles, the industrials can carry at least one shuttle I think.

This way, you could perceivably pick up your indy and move a shuttle in its cargo. I think the other ships (i.e. frigates) are all too large to transport in an indy, but I have not confirmed this point.

Most likely in the future, titans could place ships in their large cargoholds since every ship has a size.

You could always have a friend in an industrial ship and a shuttle in their cargo hold follow you around to haul the shuttle when you fly your ships to where you want them to be. Then you fly the shuttle to your next ship to pick up...your friend follows you again and takes the shuttle and follows you.

Less fuss than to buy a shuttle at each station but requires more teamwork. Smile

Also note a badger 2 takes about one and a half days training time and will comfortably fit a packaged destroyer, if you're still in smaller ships you could use one of those. (They're cheap to- 600k give or take)

You're probably better off starting a new thread asking your question. A 4 year old unrelated thread isn't the best place to ask it.

There are several options:

1. buy a shuttle and go pick up your ships - either sell the shuttle at the other end, or keep it and pick it up with a hauler later (I use a hauler to go around picking up all my loot/shuttles/etc once a week).

2. If you're in high sec and have no war decs, then you can pod travel. Get out of your ship and undock in your pod. Pro - cheap, Con - pods aren't that fast and it's best if it's a short trip.

3. Repackage some ships and put them in haulers. Any non-capital ship can be repackaged down to a smaller size and fitted into a hauler of some kind (battleships are still big when repackaged and probably won't fit in anything less than a freighter). Pro - can get several frigates into one hauler, Cons - if your haluer gets ganked you lose the lot, finding a big enough hauler might be a challenge, repackaging will invalidate your insurance.

4. (Advanced option) If you're in low-sec or 0.0 you might be able to get your ships a ride in a carrier. You'll need to be in a corp with a carrier that has some available space. Jumping carriers isn't cheap and you'd have to be in the right place at the right time as they won't make a special trip for you.

I've used all of the first 3.....I never seem to find a carrier going my way.

Since we're talking frigates here you can also get an industrial with some expanders..

With my badger ii and some relatively cheap expanders on it I can get 10km3, which can carry 4 repackaged frigates, and any excess will goto modules.

If you can't use those, shuttles or flying there in your pod even is a better bet. Shuttles warp fast and are cheap.. Your pod warps almost instantly and is free. But you don't get the added warning if you were to be attacked.
