Clipped Wings Gallente LFC	Posted - 2006.10.11 20:01:00 - [1] The paths that I once tread have all but gone. Only embers now smolder where bridges once burned. I feel alive and yet I fear what may happen now. I know I can't return. It's a rare thing to feel so emotionally attached to a place, a collection of digits and letters, but it happens when you spend over 2+ years the same place. Each gate I've fought at, the stations that have been my home, the empty space in between, home. I speak on behalf of LFC, but more than that, putting to paper the thoughts that I know all my fellow directors also have had. We've been part of 3rd Front Alliance since its inception, back in march 2004, seen it through countless battles since, from the Catch22 alliance, the USTA, alliances that hardly anyone remember now, but to us, they helped forge the ideals 3FA was founded on. We've fought the splinter remains of the Curse Alliance during the battles for VV-VCR, alongside JQA and XETIC. We've fought with and against the GoonSwarm, as some of the first of EVE. The Black Reign Syndicate, NBSI Alliance and ganksquads from pretty much every entity I can care to count. It's all part of our history, written into our time in EVE, and will stay with us until we one day log out one last time...And now, it is behind us. As of 19:30 EVE time, we have left 3rd Front Alliance behind us, and are moving onwards. To the majority, this may mean nothing, you don't know us or 3FA, nor do you care. You're welcome to your opinions, but I will ask that you in that case keep your thoughts to yourself. This is something that matters to us, and any decision that causes your throat to clog and your eyes to burn with tears is something that matters to you. 3FA; We leave with you with love and a heavy heart. All the best to you in the future, stay true to the ideals and you can't go wrong, come hell or high water. 3FA's survived things that I doubted anyone expected it to come through, stubbornness and determination, and loyalty. As for LFC? We will go towards new horizons and new places. This is where we leave you, and this is where we take off. My gratitude to our enemies over time, for the good fights, you gave us something to steel our resolve against; my thanks to our allies over time for standing with us...and most of all, all my devotion to those I've flown with, for making it all worth fighting for. But 3FA was my first experience of 0.0 space, and the excitement of PvP, and the wealth of the space; and also the fun of flying in a group of people that you can rely on in battle. I've had a real great time playing with all the other people in the other corps in 3FA, so i wish them all good luck with where they take 3FA from here. So even though it does not do anyone justice, there are some things I'd like to say. 3FA pilots, you've been good to me, and I've made more friends than I can count, from on-line to real-life. I'll miss you guys, however I know that we'll continue to meet at beer&ganks and bbq's in the future. And respect to those who we fought. Those who we fought with clean local channels, and those who tried to lure our pilots into replying to smack . We had a good time, regardless of any differences at times, and I hope our enemies have to. From the responses so far it would seem so, and it means a lot. All the best to everyone in the syndicate region, we'll meet again. Onward!

The total devotion of the alliance pilots to fight for what is 3FA, and there have been many fights. Most of the enemies we have met have been honorable and have given us much fun, some we will see again real soon I am sure. I see many of our old enemies posting in this thread whishing us luck, and I wan't to say the feeling is mutual. You have provided us with great fun, and in some cases you have even forced us to grow stronger to survive. To the pilots of 3FA I have just one thing to say. Rest assured I'll be back from time to time to say hello to my old friends there. To all those who never expected it happen, I didn't either but here we are and everything we've done till now has brought us to this point, and I look forward to what the future holds. 3FA is more than just LFC and everyone there has my utmost respect and best wishes for the future.
