I got 24mil sp's It is extreamly important that you heed this warning that this message has in it. The reason that My account was banned is simple. I failed to heed the warning from ANDER who has been playing this game since beta days.... I got banned because I got lazy nad had made the poor decision to buy isk. Buying is is not in the EULA but it does create a serious grey area that needs to be addressed. I was banned under the EULA portion that governs hacking. If you read that section it has a area in it refering to macos. Althought I did not ever use a macro nor would I. It was the fact that I had purchased isk from an off game website that uses macros to mine and convert in to isk for the purpose of making real money. Since I was doing something that supported and encouraged the use of macros thru my poor decision of buying isk. I was ultimatly banned from the game. This would have been a permant ban under most cases. I had to do some serious talking to get this account back. DO NOT PUT YOUSELF THRU THIS THE HEADACHE AND MENTAL ANGUISHIS IS NOT WORTH IT. If you need isk mine it or hunt for it. or any other in game method. The decision is yours.. You might not be as luck. For those that think CCP has turned a blind eye to macros. you are all sadly mistaken. I thank the GM's for allowing me the oportunity to reamin with this game.

If it keeps other people frome risking thier accounts for doing something stupid. then it is worth it.

The difference being that EVE is one of the very few games that actually enforces said part of the EULA in anything more than a "oh, if the facts jump out at us we'll ban" way. The fact its against the EULA in most other games is completely irrelevant - so its a fairly easy mistake to make coming to EVE from another mmo. Enough fighting that I went to bed with headaches because I was trying to convince ccp to let me back. Anything you want badly enough is worth fighting for. The EULA is pretty cut and dried. I have never violated it once in the time that I have played EVE. I am very supportive of the concept of it being a contained university that is independent of the real world, and as such is in a very delicate balance that people like you throw out the window by buying ISK. When you buy ISK you affect the economy of EVE and tilt the balance of those who tried hard and play within the game mechanics and those whose wallet is bigger than others (But apparent patience is limited) The fact that you are trying that bibical angle is a tad bit more insulting than you can imagine. "We all do it," is a very sad attempt at deflecting blame to a community rather than yourelf Pod yourself and we'll call it even. Frustration, agravation and anger is just EVE's way of saying you are playing the game to the fullist

I mean doesn't it promote the same macroers to use macros to mine, buy GTC's then actually sell for a lower cost than retail hence making real cash ? or would it be the fact that initially GTCs come from CCP, keeps people in the game and hence increases revenue for CCP ?
