Imagine my joy when I attempted to log into my account today and lo and behold, I had been banned for "time card scam" - amazing! Upon further inquiry with my directors, it turns out that one of them had also been banned for "time card scam", and he was just as impressed with the situation as I was! Good show. This was all very heartening because it meant that no matter what injustice TimeCard scammers have done to the people of Eve - they would all be caught, even the ones who didn't do it. I checked back through my purchases made through shatteredcrystal.com - nothing really out of the ordinary. TCs paid for, delivered, given directly to my director through forums PM for resale. He assured me that he had not given out any code to more than one person. But really, I wasn't worried because I knew that TEAM GENERAL MODERATOR was on the case of those nasty scammers, and a few casualties were to be expected. You can't make an omellete without breaking a few eggs, and you can't keep TC scammers away without banning a few innocent people once every few weeks on spuriously unfounded allegations. I'm sure that's the motto at TEAM GM: "Quality is job #2"; it's not #1, but it's damn sure close. After all, banning is about punishment, not fairness. Allow me to clarify for people who seem to have problems comprehending my previous post; i'm not surprised that CCP have banned someone on unfounded allegations without contacting the person involved first. That, the state of the servers, and everything else is kinda starting to make me feel a bit... apprehensive.

Awesome! This sounds like an excellent strategy. Seriously, someone can falsely accuse you of selling them a bad timecard, thus weaseling out of their obligations and then turn around and resell the timecode for themselves. Obviously not bothering to do any investigation at all is a brilliant plan which cannot possibly go wrong. Now excuse me, I have to petition Nebba for selling me a bad timecode.

Random Goon: What? I didn't do anything 3 weeks of petitions and raising hell later GM: Oops, looks like you did nothing at all, sorry about that. Hopefully being undeservingly banned for 3 weeks wasn't too disruptive to your gaming experience.
