Great tool, me love you long time!!
Is there a way to save a character so I don't have to load the xml everytime I open the program?

Edited by: Salvis Tallan on 14/11/2006 04:12:27 Version 1.5.2.1 New Features: -Sales tax is now calculated and included in profit calculations. Also takes into account the Accounting skill to lower this tax. -Included this changelog, and a window in the application that will display it -Included a new Graphing window to display the waste versus the ME level of a blueprint -Splash Screen!
Bugfixes: -None, but just wait till next version...
Right now the Graph is only on the Tech1 page. This is so I can get feedback on it, fix it and then include it everywhere. If the graph doesnt show up after you change soemthing, you might have to recheck one of the materials checkboxes because it doesnt redraw properly.
Sexorella hotz: I didnt set up the app initially for resizing and so after putting a few hundred controls on the pages, itll take a long, long time to get it resizing properly. So I wont be doing it for a while. however, the new graph window resizes properly
Laci: I havent decided if I want to do a capital ship page yet or not
Biarch: If you load the xml file once, EVEMEEP stores the filepath and will load it every time you load the program. So as long as the file is there, it should load every time. ------ Designer of EVEMEEP - Multiuse Economic Efficiency Planner -Tech 1&2, Mining, POS Fuel, Reprocessing Calcs |

Sorry Arjun! It happens if the text in the item combobox does not match to a blueprint. I just uploaded 1.5.2.2 which contains a check for this error. Thankyou! ------ Designer of EVEMEEP - Multiuse Economic Efficiency Planner -Tech 1&2, Mining, POS Fuel, Reprocessing Calcs |

in my inventory i now have suddenly dominix, thorax, enyo instead of the 8 bs bpo. is that from a alien xml file downloaded with the prog?
on the reprocess page the program shows me as having scrapmetal processing on 5 after loading up with m skill xml even though i have it on 1 only which is enough to reach 100% reprocess output on modules.
edit . i overwrote the resources folder with an older 1512 version. same result. no bplueprints in the dropdown.

Obviously this is a major effort and a good one but I would like to be able to select the type of Exhumer I use.
When I selected the mining ship I only got the chance to choose Exhumer - and the level of that skill. I could not tell if the calculator was accounting for a Hulk with 3 Mod Deep Strip IIs on Mercoxit (which is a poor choice for that ore) or if it was calculating for a Skiff with its massive Mecoxit bonus (which is the best ship for the job).

G'Day Salvis,
I downloaded you tool and gave it a bit of a spin. I may have missed something, but how do I get the drop downs populated in the BPO screen & refining screen?
Apart from that, it looks good.
Cheers,
Gythar.

Im sorry everyone! I have 2 versions of EVEMEEP, one for debuging and another for distro. The one I posted last night was the dbugging one, and so the filepaths are wrong. Hence the files were not loaded. I appoligize for the inconvenience! Version 1.5.2.3 is back to normal, and I deleted my test Blueprints.xml file from the resources folder. On the panel on the left of the screen, click 'My Character' (may take a try or 2). you wll then see boxes with your char's photo and name, click the box. Finally this is a page will all your stats and skills. At the top with your attributes, there is a link called XML Data. Right-click, Save As, and thats it. When you next load EVEMEEP, go to file->Open, or click the text at the top that says Load a character, then select that xml file you just downloaded. ------ Designer of EVEMEEP - Multiuse Economic Efficiency Planner -Tech 1&2, Mining, POS Fuel, Reprocessing Calcs |

I am having a problem with the mineral requirements that EVEMEEP spits out. I have updated my skills with xml and inputed the various bpos and bpcs. However, when I get ready to manufacture it says that I am short of minerals. Often times I am 2 short of all minerals except trit. Other times I am 400 short on trit and pyerite. On one occasion I was even 400 over for trit.
Is it on my end or EVEMEEP?

Best way to find out is if you post an example or two here. This way myself and/or others can check the numbers. There could very well be a rounding error in the math, or just something was forgotten. ****Version 1.5.3.2**** New Features: -Added another graph page to graph Cost in Isk vs ME Level. Now you can really see how much money you save by doing research... -Added the graph feature for Tech 2 blueprints -Added label for Total Volume of POS Fuel in POS calc
Bugfixes: -adjusted the way the graph page finds the maximum y-value for the graph, should be more accurate for everything
Arjun I will make it save standing, but I want to tie it to the character your uploading, so thatll be comming next ------

ahh yes, that needs to be added. Would it help people If I added a button to subtract runs from blueprint copies? This way, you load your copy, set for x number of runs, and then click the button so it keeps track of how many runs are left on the copies? ------

Sorry it took me a while to respond back to this. I took a bit of time off from manufacturing. Here is an example for you:
These examples are assuming product efficiency trained to lvl 5.
Thorax BPC - 40 ME 15 PE- Eve Meep asks for the following minerals for 1 run: Trit: 525494 Pyerite: 131530 Mex: 34207 Iso: 8290 Nocx: 2039 Zydrine: 511 Mega: 130
Per my own figuring, the correct amount should be: Trit: 525495 (+1 over EVEMEEP) Pyerite: 131530 Mex: 34207 Iso: 8290 Nocx: 2040 (+1 over EVEMEEP) Zydrine: 511 Mega: 130
Another Example - Caracal BPC - 20 ME 15 PE - 1 run - From EveMeep: Trit: 308592 Pyerite: 77571 Mex: 25429 Iso: 5309 Nocx: 1282 Zydrine: 277 Mega: 76
Per my calculations: Trit: 308952 Pyerite: 77572 (+1 over EVEMEEP) Mex: 25430 (+1 over EVEMEEP) Iso: 5309 Nocx: 1282 Zydrine: 277 Mega: 76
I've had other examples in the past and it seems to differ with the blueprints. It is rounding some way?

There's a problem with the reprocessing calculator page, or maybe my understanding of it.
Say you're thinking about buying and reprocessing Cap Booster 25's. They're reprocessed in lots of 10. So, if I put in 10 in the amount section, and 40 in the price per item section, it should say I get around 156 tritanium (at perfect). Instead, it says I get 1560 tritanium (at perfect). This gets carried over into the cost calculations, and shows approximately 10x the actual profit.
If I put in 1 in the amount section, it gives 156 trit. However, the item calculation section's total buy price is incorrectly set to 40, instead of 400.
Something's not right here. |

You would be right, I forgot to multiply by the batch size. For both buy and sell price of the item. Also, I believe that I have the refine rate set wrong. The 35% refine means a Maximum of 35%, ignoring skills right? Is there anything else I should add for POS refinine? ------

Edited by: More Ahn on 22/11/2006 19:49:46 Edited by: More Ahn on 22/11/2006 19:49:29 Unfortunately, I know nothing of POS refining.
However, the mining sticky notes that "Outposts (conquerable stations or player built outposts) have a station equipment of 35% only, so you can only get 97.5% at best out of them."
Whether that takes scrap metal processing skill into account, I dunno. |

For those who might have a simlar problem, the issue was the 1.7 was throwing an error. His settings needed to have 1,7 instead. This is an issue with how the numbers are saved to the app, and will be addressed and corrected next release. ------

I'm having that problem too. It worked at somepoint and I don't know why its not anymore. It shows the progress bar but doesn't actually do anything... However I'm in the process of rewriting it so that it will compile all prices and not just the minerals so I promise to get it working again very soon. Thanks for pointing out the bug! ------

Many Many new things! Here we go:
****VERSION 1.5.5.1**** New Features: -Compile Prices now will get the prices of every item with an exported marketlog. This means you can export logs for tech 2 components or any item, and use them. These vaules are stored in the prices.xml file, so remember to export the file again after you compile them. -Tech2 calc and reprocessing calc will automaticly load these prices when the parts are needed.
Bugfixes: -Compile prices now actually works... -Reprocessing calc now accuratly takes batch size into account when computing sell and buy prices -EVE-MEEP will save the filepath of the marketlog folder for exported files and not prompt every time. Make sure you select the right folder the first time. -Bug with EVE-MEEP reading the stored default values incorrectly has hopefully been fixed
Also announcing an EVE-MEEP Website! (hence why this version has taken so long) EVE-MEEP Website
Now for 2 requests: I am looking for a better host for the website. This place is only giving me 2 gigs/month and 50 megs for the free account. Hurray for eve-files for hosting images and files! If anyone knows of a host that has ASP.net 2.0 support (and sql...), and is free, can you let me know? I am also looking for someone who knows SQL (in relation to c# and ASP.net) and wants to help me work on a little project related to EVE-MEEP... EVEmail please me if your interested. It shouldn't be too hard but I don't know SQL databases and do not know how long it would take to learn it. ------
