finally moved to nullsec, but I'm a horrible noob and didn't realise my corp was operating in drone lands...is ccp making any changes to dronelands? |

That missing loot table had been missing for years. We're talking about 20-30 seconds of work here, copy & pasting loot table from "Genetic Mission Wreck" onto "Drone Wreck." If they had any intention of fixing it, it would've been done by now. |

Lightyears from anywhere and nothing going on. If tumbleweeds floated in space, you'd find them all in dronelands. But they don't, so dronelands doesn't even have that.

There are no tumbleweeds left in the dronelands.. people shot them all because they dropped more loot than drones!

I lived in the den before the jumapocalypse (Before phoebe) and it was crap. I thought back then that it wasn't that bad compared to other areas, but when i finally got the **** out of there, only then i realized how wrong i truly was.
Even brave space is better for making isk than that dump. Get out while you still can or go insane!

well, it's main disadvantage (seclusion), is also an advantage in disguise. Since dronelands is so far away from everything else, roamers and gankers rarely venture into deep drones, and most of the threats come from wormholers rolling into your space.
It's great for botting and afk ratting/mining. If you are a person who would like to do things beyond that, not so great.

I have recently moved to the drone regions.... i dont think it is too bad as the bounties are higher (and very quiet) but yeah no loot kinda sucks.... |

I still remember corporation gun mining ops to fund carriers for our guys (back when I was in IRC before "The Incident").
We'd go out, run Havens as a corp for a few hours and get up enough minerals to build three of four capital ships.
Once they nerfed the loot table, living in the drone lands was crap.

i dunno about you but me personally came to Dronelands with barely 1 billion of ISK and left with about 40-50 billion ISK + built outpost in IS-OBW after couple of months (when Legion of XDeathX left that space). And i have never been hardcore carebear... Having 2 hours after work day for playing the game and weekends are for family.
And in first half of 2013 there was plenty of action around. Check Dotlan history.

two years ago was around the time they reset the drone lands and added bounties. once that happened, the crappy alliance of IRC was destoryed.
I never said you couldn;t make iskies in drone lands, the big 3 who lived there did, xxdeathxx, irc, and shadow. But no one wanted the area. Once the bounties came in, you saw a purge of the area... then people again remembered drone lands suck.
*edit for clarification. Former IRC ally and IRC member. yea they suck

OP, to answer your question no, there aren't any announced plans for improvement. But there is a lot of talk about sov phase 3 and what this could mean in terms of making sov null more desirable to live in.
