Bios fall into only a few distinct categories, I've found: - Sixty two page novellas about an RP character's backstory. Some of these are actually quite interesting to read; some of them will easily get you killed if you're trying to read them while puttering about, due to their length. :P Best left for reading while docked. ;) - faction stuff for sale!!!!!1111111111 - I'm a carebear, don't shoot me! - I'm two weeks old and am like feared by everyone! My bio says so! FEAR ME! FEAR ME I SAY! (Usually seen in the bios of very ugly Caldari or Matari characters.) - Random information that one should probably use the notepad feature for, such as NPC resists. Ah, well, I suppose it's at least a public service of some sort. But I imagine some poor newbie getting a new mission, and randomly clicking through local trying to find a bio that contains resist info. :P - Random national flags. - ePeen enhancement spam. So I have a very short RP piece saying that "I won't shoot you if you don't shoot me", which is correct 90% of the time and then a link to the actual character journal. I have been commended for it many times so I guess people like it that way. I like to read the bios of others but yeah... if I have to read about one more murdered family I will scream.

I have a few of my favourite quotations in mine. John Dewey for instace: "There is no greater inequality than the equal treatment of unequals." I also have a few quotations from various interactions I've had with other people who have been disappointed in the level of service I provided them. But no wrecking shots :P Why? Because I don't give a rats arse how much damage you can hit a stationary object or anything for that matter, for. --------------
