Firstly:- this is my view and not that of my colleagues or corp or alliance or etc,etc,etc.
O.K now that bit is dispensed with, The original idea of ISS was a great one and had lofty goals (not new as it had been tried before and eventually failed by other alliances i believe,(getting new corps out to 0.0 and the such.))
Now for the nasty bit , You guys messed up! signing that agreement with -LV- was a blatant act of rescinding neutrality, spying on fleet movements was not too clever either.You as an alliance should politely decline 'offers' like those.(Greed is a powerful persuader though).
You guys should have tried to find your own bit of 0.0 where you would be out the way really, not on main artery's or in other alliances territory.A nice deadend system maybe?(let me guess 'that is not what ISS is all about!').
p.s. check the alliance map... seems ISS claim sovereignty in several solar systems or is it just a terrible misunderstanding?
p.p.s your first bit was very well written , just a shame that it does not reflect the real state of affairs
