1. I have all files downloaded 2. added "Download all the resource files" into EVE launcher Settings.
Still client downloads something and its horrible gate to gate travel, on each jump it lags like hell.
Is there option to bypass this DoD thing ? |

Is there option to bypass this DoD thing ? Did you restart the EVE Launcher after ticking that box?
I did, and it did downloaded some extra 260MB of stuff, and still lags in game like hell...

CCP Habakuk wrote:Brain Gremlin wrote:I had some strange problems - getting the cache done was fine and easy on 2 SSD's, I logged in and suddently I had texture problems (yes I got screen shots of em if people wanna see) my head was all weird and I missed stations here and there.
I then reinstalled it all and checked the download all resource thing and I now have another problem instead - game is dropping in FPS from 300ish to 30 and then back up everytime I get near a gate or a station, no matter what, never EVER had this issue before and im dead certain its not my computer on this...
Not really sure what to do from here, have tried the repair tool that didnt work, reinstalled, same deal, updated my video card drivers (which is a MSI Geforce 970 GTX)..
Any ideas is kinda welcome :) Were the first issues resolved by downloading all resources? For the fps issues: Could you please send a bug report through the client (F12 - "Report Bug") - maybe we find something in your logs. Please also include screenshots and as much info as possible.
bug report sent ! same issues with fps drops |

CCP Snorlax wrote:Droidyk wrote:I am having small freezes continuously with connection to the loading circle that tells me it loads resources all the time. Before the patch I haven't seen this problem occur ever. I am always running high settings with high fps all the time. They are really short freezes but they happen quite a lot, mostly when jumping between system, undocking where there is more activity and such. Also overall loading times, much longer. I do have download all resources option on in the launcher (game still loading resources which probably causes all the freezes)
Edit: I have been watching the loading circle more closely this time, whenever the circle appears or disappears, that is when the freezes occur, not sure what that's about, but I d rather not have it there. This issue is being investigated. You seem to suffer from this more severely than most, but we do see it here to some degree and hope to have a fix soon.
any progress has been made on that front ... its a bit frustrated to just sit in station and do spin ships, cos only that would not trigger loading bar and afterwards a lag... |

Val Mech wrote:Darkblad wrote:Try if this fixes it for you. Restart the Launcher after changing this setting and login once the download finished. Thanks mate, I tried it the first even, and much more others, but DoD indicator continues to flash constantly, on stargates, on acceleration gates, stations near, within mission sites, and cause fps drops (freezes). And now Jita for me is a natural slideshow.
on top of that, my sister core probess loaded in sister core launcher will vanish into thin air if i dock. |
