You're welcome to look at my stats, at FZN killboard, Rampage killboard, SA killboard(s) (offline), FIX killboard (multiply my kills there with 3x to be accurate) etc.
I've never hidden that I've only flown gallante since I switched to that from Caldari after ~8 months of the game.
Difference is that in opposite to you, I want balance and I always argue for balance and not for myself, k?
Do you remember way back in the days, when TomB increased Antimatter base damage from 44 to 48? Out of all the people on these boards, I was the one person who argumented strongest against this change. At a time when I used rails on my raven and was training up my gallante skills.
And that's just one example of very very many when I've argumented against the race/ships I use. Go look at some of the spamming I've done about nerfing the current state of ECM and how they're used at dominixes. And what ship do I fly most? Yea, you've already found out that it's the dominix.
But then again, looking at the general standard of posts on these boards, including yours, I figure it's quite shocking for you to find someone arguing for the devs to nerf himself.
Am I forced to have any regret? I've become the lie, beautiful and free In my righteous own mind I adore and preach the insanity you gave to me |

Pilgrims and arazus excell at the shutting down of multiple options of any SINGLE opponent.
The falcon is designed to shut down a SINGLE option for MULTIPLE opponents.
It's different, not worse/.

Hmm,
Pilgrim, TD bonus. What do people fit on it? ECM
Arazu? Ditto
Rapier? Ditto
Anyway Falcon gets an ECM bonus so it does what the others do but better. All it falls short on is dps. When you can easily jam 3 opponents and sometimes 5-7 at an optimal of 160km+ what more could you ask for?
In summary, take friends, its a gang ship.

Arazu:
BBQ - Warp Scramble Range BBQ - Sensor Damp Strength and a decent damage ( 3x 200mm II )
of course a drone bay!
Pilgrim:
BBQ - Best - Combo - in - Game
Nos/Drones/ECM aaaaand Tracking disrupt that means: damage, i-win nos, and "you can't hit me"
Edit: Drone Bay
Now lets take a look at the Falcon:
Nice ship, the ECM power is just great! But: The Falcon ONLY got ECM, nothing else.
I mean: 2x Gunslots, 2x Missleslots ?!
No Drones? No Damage? Just a silly support Cruiser?
The whole point of this thread is the huge difference between the Pilgrim/Arazu and the Falcon. So why dont ask the dear GM's to boost the falcon A Bit not that much but there has to be the little kick in it:
like 4 gun hardpoints, atleast 3!
or a drone Bay! would be enough!
I really hope there are a few Falcon lovers outta there who will boost that thread in the hope the falcon gets a bit boosted!

The Pilgrim and Arazu aren't good against 3 - 4 ships . Falcon man i can lock down ships. The ability to lock down more ships for less firepower imo is pretty good. Done whine and NOT SIGNED.
Leave them as they are and because you said boost the falcon nerf it a bit

Just one more launcher hardpoint. Please? 2 heavy launchers is just feeble.
Not that I think it's necessary, since it's good at it's role - a cloaked Ewar ship, but it still depresses me when I have to call in support to pop a tech 1 frigate.

I actually tried the Falcon for a few days in low sec to give it my first test...
The cloak is good, and the jamming is excellent.!!
Damage is bad... The BlackBird can at least fit 3 launchers or 3 guns, and no drones really make the Falcon cry.
Fitting Blasters and NOS or perhaps a missile launcher is the most damage you can do solo, so just keep them scrambled and jammed while waiting...
A few light drones would be nice, but I think it's rather balanced atm.

Maybe a 25m drone bay would be it... mebbe less, 15... I do like it as it stands but the damage is really, really really poor, atleast being able to kill off a T1 frig with a low skill pilot in a reasonable amount of time, that'd be nice. **** Where's the problem? With all the drone damage skills maxed out with Gallente spec 5 the Pilgrim can output 237.6 DPS from 5 Hammerhead II. Or 245.2 from 2 Ogre II, 1 Hammerhead II and 2 Hobgoblin II.
Now, where is the so called "overpowered" damage output we are talking about?
This is my lazy attempt to make an uber-signature, please go away!

Said it all.
it's very good at its particular role which is to jam things as part of a gang. It isn't a solo ship.
As Rod said its different, like most other Caldari ships. People too often make the mistake of seeing 'difference' as 'better'.

It should have 2 missile hardpoints and 3 gun hardpoints. With some range bonus to rails. So make it similar to command ships (missile nighthawk and rails on vulture), af (hawk - harpy), inty and hac. One type - two different weapons. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
