As a dedicated CS pilot I do not like the training time multipliers on these new skills. a jump from 1 x to 8 x and then a 12 x!!! My god CCP please think again. I have already got a skill plan train in progress to get me where I want to be for the next 160 days you adding even more feels like a slap in the face for specialisation IMO. ---------------------------

Heck I might be wrong but I think this is premptive to adding more skills that use charisma and that boost different parts of a fleet which they cant really do now since there is no group structure and it would be overpowered if you added a bunch of leadership skills that boost different aspects of just a squad.

Ok slightly off topic , but in the same family of the topic.
I got onto the est server the other day and immediatly went to fit up an absolution and take a look at the leadership skills and gang mods etc...
I noticed that the "squadron command" skill had been changed to "warfare link specialist" and thus I had lvl 4, The description for this skill says. "Improved Gang Leadership. Boosts effectiveness of all warfare link modules by 10% per level" 
Now this is where I either cream my pants! or get confused! the way i see that is that gang modules will get a 40% increase in effect for the command bonus of the modules fitted to the ship? and a bit like maxing out the specific leadership spec skills and having a mindlink inplant in??
It didnt look like it was working this way on test, but I was assuming that its possibly not game on test as of yet?
explanation for this would be awesome as i'm sure a hellovalot of us CS pilots will be welcoming this if its true and will take the sting out of the evil mulitpliers on the newer leadership skills, in some form

Squadron Command does indeed give a 40% (at lvl 4) bonus to the bonus of a gang module, and it stacks very nicely with a Mindlink implant.
Formula looks something like this:
(Base modifer) * (Specialization level) * (1 + (SqdCom / 10)) * (1.5 if you have Mindlink) * (Fleet Command Ship bonus)
Squadron Command is teh pwn, and is already in the game.
