I am a 10m SP player looking for PVP opportunities. Piracy is acceptable. I don't think I would be a good antipirate. Other forms of PVP are good too - basically I'm looking for action.
My history
I started playing in mid January. I joined a corp that hung out around where I started - carebears, mostly. There were 6 or so active members in the corp, and over the course of two months, they all stopped logging in. After a week and a half of not seeing anyone in corp chat, I started looking for a new corporation.
In mid March 2006, I joined Fade to Black Inc. That corp was a group of great guys. I wanted some PVP action - so I wanted to take up Piracy. This caused sort of a kerfuffle... so seeing as our goals diverged, I decided to move on. I have a RL friend still in that corp. I have not remained in contact with FTB, but I do not believe there is any ill will (there is certainly no ill will from me).
The following months included me taking a break and having a major surgery. I am just now ending my disability term from that surgery. For a couple weeks afterwards, I had no energy to do anything but sleep 18 hours a day and watch a little TV. This caused some absence from skill training.
Recently I wanted to PVP, so I went out and did a little pirating. I have gotten into a couple of good fights, but certainly not enough to sustain an income on. (Also had a rough time finding enough victims that I felt I could take on... guarded mining ops, pirate wolfpacks, etc.)
My character
I have 3.4m in gunnery, including training for tech 2 medium blasters ( ) and railguns ( ). 1.8m of my points are in learning. 1.5m in drones (can use some T2 medium drones). Currently focused on Gallente ships.
So far I have focused on flying cruisers and battlecruisers. I'm aware that it is near time that I branch out into some T2 ships/battleships. I am worried about the expansion and how it will affect blaster ships, so I am considering training Caldari or Minmatar ships - so T2 ships will likely take a back seat to things like training up Minmatar ships so that I can get a Hurricane (I gotta have access to a new gunship BC!  ).
I have a second account that is trained for hauling. I can use it as an empire agent.
What I'm looking for
- Corp must be active during evening PST (west coast USA) times. I am active after 5pm-7pm PST (due to work).
- I am joining a corp because I want to be involved in things that require groups. However, I like to be self sufficient in some things - money for instance. Therefore,...
- 0.0 space would be good, so that I can pay for my lost equipment and keep sec up. I don't like running missions (L4s are buggy with a Domi I've heard).
- I don't enjoy an environment where everyone *****es about RL politics all the time. I get along with people just fine but I don't fit in with 99.99% of peoples' political beliefs. When I join political arguments, EVERYONE gets angry. I play this game to escape RL crap. I don't want to deal with it in game. (While this should go without saying, I've come across far too many people who just have to be *******s - and it ended badly.)
- Maturity! Open minds!
- Right now I've decided that being a solo pirate probably isn't going to go well in Kali, so I need to join a group and get with the "M" in "MORPG" I want to jump in with an open mind, but still be heard.
- I can use TS/Vent. I already have a working mic.
- I respect probationary periods. As I am self sufficient if given the means to be (ie. 0.0 etc) I don't need immediate access to corp hangar/wallet.
- I want to be part of a corp that feels that everyone should play the game the way they want to without people looking down their noses at them. Ie. no snobby anti- or anti- attitudes.
- Rabid fanboiism of Seinfeld, Lost, and Black Sabbath is a huge bonus

Xori, we are a 0.0 based corp with both a strong industrial branch (mining, transporting, manufacturing, POS maintenance, outpost construction...) and a strong security branch (guarding of miners/convoys, raids, camping...) which is basically a lot of action. We have a killboard and our ts server which you must be on if you are online. We could quarrel with you about politics if you should wish so 8)

I'm not typically on at this hour - your recruitment post mentioned that you are typically on before and after downtime. So based on that, I don't think I would be a very good fit.

Our corp has 10 mil sp or more atm but we accept from 5 mil sp and more 1 pilot is on his way has 13mil sp logistic ship. So if u wanna tank np...
