It is not mentioned any where but I had to get the newest DX SDK Jun 06, I believe, for the new patch to work. Might be nice if a post with current patch requirements was posted.

That might explain why my machines getting horrible graphical errors the oen time i was able to get into the test server briefly.

why would you need a software development kit to run any game whatsoever?
Are you sure you had the newest DX 9.0c installed?
I logged in to the test server for a few minutes no problems without SDK for DX of any sort...

You just need the Oct 2006 DX redistributable :)

We will be running requirement tests on the client once we get closer to a stable and releasable build, ans we will post that info as soon as we have it.
