I now have a pic of my desktop screen
This is 2 monitors, 1 19" 1280x1024 (on the left) and a 19" Widescreen 1440x900 on the right
http://gray70.gotadsl.co.uk/screen_layout.png (3.2meg file)
As you can see I have eve radio, websites and 2 clients running with easy swap between them.
The large ammount of black below the right hand screen is because 1 monitor is 1024 pixels high and the widescreen is only 900 high. ----
God gave us a brain, he also gave us a voice.
Shame some people have yet to connect them.

Since you asked for screens, I'll throw one out here for you. I play in fullscreen 1280x1024 with an X800 XT and anti-aliasing.
Interface
I don't keep too many windows open, I prefer to see the game rather than struggle to read the horrible font. :P

I run two at once.
Main client 1600x1200 window Second client on second monitor 1280x1024
Additional clients usually 1280x1024 also.
I really found 1600x1200 eally benefits making eve more playable, because of the amount of windows I need open. Most games im happy at 1024x768 picutre quality wise.. but all the chat makes me need a bigger screen here.

When I play on one account my resolution is 1280x800 (laptop display) or 1600x1050 (desk screen 20" wide), both full screen. when I use two clients my "main" is in a 1280x960 windows, my 2nd account in 1024xz768 window.
Originally by: FireFoxx80 1280x1024 window'd.
Widescreen people: How do you find it? The whole widescreen monitor concept is odd, I don't get it. I really want 1200 vertical res, but it's a ú300+ Dell monitor for that.
I recently did some "testing" of widescreen vs. 4:3 screens because I bought a new screen, and widescreen just visually feels more natural to me. I always need 10 minutes to adjust to the "narrow" 4:3 at work when I get there. Widescreen is also useful if you use applications with lots of tool sidebars (such as programming IDEs for example).

Okay, now everyone, post some screenshots of your setup. Be in space, and take a picture of how you generally have your layout organized.
Those of you with a billion chat windows, I am especially interested in your contributions. I'll upload a picture of my interface when I undock from lag-infested jita :p

We use that for ourselves not to tell what hostiles are in system or whatever.
We use it to show rank inside our own corp. We have a unique color scale that defines our tiers as shown by Tiers 1-4. And I've said time and time again, if a GM has an issue with it they can let me know. But I've talked with them about it and they don't seem to have a problem with it unless it modifies the gamePLAY.
Meaning I'm doing it for my own corp only, and who cares about that :p

I can't stand widescreen, ESPECIALLY when running an IDE like visual studio. I want to see lots of lines of code. Widescreen doesn't let me see as many lines at once, which is a pain.
For the last 4 years I have used 2 4:3s side by side and been happy. Someday may jump to 3, but it's not a necessity at the moment.

Are you trying to tell us you have checked with GM/CCP that you are allowed to modify EVE client files and they said "it's ok"? I call bs.
It doesn't matter if you are changing your own corp or other corps logos. You'll still be able to recognise enemies as they wont be having that altered picture.
You guys are breaking the EULA. It's as simple as that.
EDIT: "If a GM has an issue with that" - of course they can't see that hack, but you owned yourself because you shared a screenshot of yourself using the hack.

1280x1024 fullscreen, I think its ideal for 17" CRT, anything higher is too small. I like clear screen so both my chat and overview are small.
