I read Carrie's link (thanks) but it still seems weird to me. That looks more like a case of abusing the Wiki (which is creative but yeah I guess not nice) with just a little bit of impersonation on the side.
Don't you think this is a good rule? I'm sure Mr. Chribba would think so! Names are reputations built for years. It makes a lot of sense to protect what I think is the biggest attraction of the game, a reputation.
