When the ToS change came up back in 2013 I sidestepped my own no-alts- rule and made a char called Solstice Project's Alt to mock this stupidity. Nothing happened. Several years ago a Goon was scamming super sales. He went on the eveonline wiki and added his alts name to a list of like verified trusted 3rd party trade characters. He added his name to be a Chribba alt on the page too i think. All this on a website with the eveonline logo on it which created the problem cuz anyone looking at the page could mistake ccp as the ones that either updated the info or verified it. This is why we cant edit the wiki anymore and the crackdown on impersonation. He scammed billions and billions making people think/appear to be a verifed and trusted 3rd party trade alt of chribbas. He and some alts got permabanned and players refunded. Ccp lost **** cuz the website was ccp owned even tho it was a wiki freely able to be edited
