Looks like we have a bug on the go. Some systems seem to keep there chat windows open, so far I have Jita local and juosameto local (which I'm no longer in). Will do bug report for it and see if there are any other systems on my route which bugger up.

I just wanna say that it all seems good on the server, very quick and smooth and not a hint of Lag for me in Oimmo or Jita

The Message of the Day is a really good thing to read. It's right there to the right of the server selector. It usually contains important information. It's heartily suggested to read that before posting on forums or using other means of communication. For example, it could contain a message like this:
"Hardware upgrades finished ahead of
schedule and the cluster is up. The
downtime November 2nd will be from
9:00 - 10:00 GMT instead of 11:00
- 12:00 GMT."
Now this message, may or may not, but isn't limited to, answering many questions one may have about EVE. Thus, as stated earlier in this public communication about the public communication at this very prominent spot on the EVE client, is good to read.
For your convenience, I will paste here todays message of the day (often referred to simply as MOTD).
"Hardware upgrades finished ahead of
schedule and the cluster is up. The
downtime November 2nd will be from
9:00 - 10:00 GMT instead of 11:00
- 12:00 GMT."
It is purely coincidental that todays message is exactly the same as the example used before. It is not intended to emphasize the importance of said public communication.
A screenshot of the MOTD, right next to the server selector in the EVE client can be provided if further clarification is required.

I have the same issue when moving in and from Jita - i now have 2 locals.....

I have found a couple of issues that need to be addressed..
1. on jumping into the high traffic system (Oursullette)
within a couple fo seconds of jumping in my HUD was displaying those ships grouped around the gate
2. On docking at the busy station in Oursu, I hit dock , and almost instantly I found myself inside the station
3. when fitting out a ship in Oursu, modules now move from items hanger to the ship
4. and even worse than the above, on hitting undock I no longer have time to go make a coffee and drink it before I am in space

I finally was able to get on BE's TS last night and about 10 minutes into chatting, a few said that the server was starting up. I got on for about 30 minutes and everything seemed ok, but couldn't tell if there was a difference sense there were only about 2k peeps on.
I won't be able to get on till 5pm eastern. So, how does the server seem to be running so far? Any noticeable improvementsin lag or anything?
EDIT: Just read the last above posts and LOL. So I guess it has been an improvement. BTW, how many were on the server when you guys were in the high traffic systems? And how many on the server?

And great job on the server upgrade. I wasn't expecting to get on the server last evening (EST timezone), only the next evening after work. But thanks to the upgrades going ahead of schedule, me and my corp mates had a good part of the evening available last night. Awesome.

1. Market is much more responsive
2 movement of items from cargo to hanger to containters, ect. is much faster
3. docking, undocking, and jumping happens quickly
