the datacores are given out by the resarch agents iirc, so no archaeology places are needed -----------------------------

There are new 'hidden' deadspace sites throughtout the universe, with a variety of interesting things in them. There is a possibility of obtaining datacores through some of these sites. You will need to use scan probes to find them though, and even then, theres no guarantees on what you will find

Since the test server is running sporadically and the code is - naturally - still being tweaked, can you let us know a bit more so that we can try to find the 'hidden' deadspaces to test and try them out please?
Do they appear in high-sec Empire space, low-sec, zero sec space, or all three? Are the standard scanner probes (pre-Kali) the ones to use to find them, or are the new ones required for this?
(When I can get onto Sisi I might be able to find the answers myself, but if you can shed a few glimmers of light Meyphysto, it would be appreciated!)

/signed save yourself time, devs, by providing people shortcut hints so that they can use the time instead of learning the new features better for actually TESTING them. -- This game is still in beta stage |

In the process of training up to use the new scan probes atm, got 12 more days to go
Really looking forward to exploration, it has been a while since I popped off to various systems to see what was hidden on the scanner.

Mephysto: Will it be possible to find something with scanprobes, which isnŠt appearing on the directional scanner? So, what is the first step to finding new stuff: *) Scan for with the directional scanner if there is any interesting stuff? *) Start probes and hope, that they detect something new?
A bit more technical: Will you find with scan probes only stuff, which is already spawned or will it be possible to spawn stuff while probing? |

Meph, what about putting generic sites in the open for people to test?
No need to ruin content by saying where they are. No need to ruin content by players learning about said places too.

i hope this will be limited to lowsec and .0?
Make ECCM viable! Give it 25% to scanning resolution! |

Available everywhere. Higher rewards in lower systems. You will need to use scan probes to find them. Happy hunting...

Are there even BPOs for the scan probes yet????? Surely we should be able to build them instead of having to bring them to 0.0? |

Probes are currently available in 0.0 markets, and yes exploration sites do work. However, some of them are a wee bit tricky...

How do they work? IŠve spent hours of probing without any success.

Any chance of having one seeded non-hidden, for testing purposes? As lovely as exploring is, Sisi isn't really the place for hours of launchig probes, methinks -----------------------------------------------
