ERR was on the test serv this morning with a guy who has about the same sps as me (9-10mil, im speced as a total pvp amarr char) and there was no way i could kill him in his drake. Not a hope in hell. This thing was a 22000sheild hp megatanked passive monster with heavy assult missiles. I was using tech 2 hss, heavy pulse laser 2s and conflag crystals at optimal.
I need a setup to beat this thing: i cant tank the dmg and i cant break the tank - even in a tech 2 fitted geddon.

Ok well i have just read through my whole thread and have got...
1) Some guy telling me i need to play for another 2 years to beat that thing
2) Some guys talking about HACs, rigs and jav missiles
3) Some guys telling my that the answer is to run away whenever i see one
4) No magic setup...
I started this thread to get a setup, doesnt look like there is one out there does it?

thanks for the first setup,
thats what i had apart from a target pc instead of the disruptor, we wernt running away

nope he had an em hardener and an invanurability field, the rest were extenders, a pretty standard tanking setup

Lyla considering that im not actually saying that the harbinger is underpowered, just that i need a setup, i suggest you get the facts right or stfu.
OK?
Edit: Oh and its one thing to say that another thing to do, you bring me 2 max skilled pilots, show me the harbinger winning and i will admit you are right. Until then i suggest you go find somthing better to do.

Well if you use your mouse (yes that thing on your desk) to turn a page or two back im sure you will find i have already tried that setup. As i said before get the facts right or stfu.

Thankyou for an answer that doesnt involve an insult but i was fighting someone with roughly the same sps as me and didnt have a hope in hell of beating him, does that mean that i will progress much faster than he does?

 Thanks, prob just my skills then ( 4mil gunnery sp ftl  ) i just couldnt break this thing, wasnt even close.
Ah well thanks anyway ( even to layla ) for the tips, ill be training ye olde skills then, now anyone want to give me any +3 implants? hope so
