I know you Pkers want to hide behind the pirate tag but sorry guys your PKERS ;) its that simple.
Thing is, PKers aren't looked down upon in Eve as in other games. So it's kind of useless to use vernacular from other games to insult people in an game where one of the points that's emphasized is the possibility for unconsenstual PvP to occur.
um incorrect again :) PKers are always looked down upon even in EVE if you havent noticed for the most part the only people who dont look down at PK's are the PK's themsleves.
Anyhow your lives are going to get harder and harder in the coming days. You might even have to go earn some of that ISK instead of carebearing gates 24/7.
No. They are not looked down upon. If you haven't noticed, EvE by design is unforgiving and cold. The weak and unresourceful do not survive. I have no problem with the pirates and the unconsentual PVPrs and I'm not a pirate, I'm still in the newb corp (but not an EvE newb.) I learned a long time ago where in EvE I could go and where I could not. I learned where I was welcome and where I was not. Despite the fact that CCP created a world where I can roam everywhere, the game being player driven, the players have decided otherwise.
I understand that I am not welcome in certain low sec areas and that I am not "allowed" into many 0.0 areas. I will be attacked. The reason for this is acceptable. I have not earned the right to go into those areas. Why should a newer player or carebears just be allowed into the belts and have access to the prime ore and prime rats? The people in those corps out there have fought long and fought hard to be here and it cost them a pretty penny. They've put in the time. So to just fly out where you want to and expect not to be put in your place is unfair to THEM if you ask me.
Also PK'ers is not an appropriate term here in this game. Player killing does NOT just apply to pirates and their customers. There are so many shades of what instigates and involves player on player combat that PKing does not apply in the context you mean it in. Please refer to players being killed for what it is here, PVP.
If you have a problem with carebear region gate camps in low sec then I suggest you shut your autopilot off, start checking local, and use your scanner to live. Find another route and fly smart. Just in getting caught in most pirating scenerios you've committed a series of mistakes. ________________________________________________________________________________ "My once immaculate white pants are now stained from the weak and innocent.
