The flaw in your thinking is that most established corps don't recruit trial accounts. We do (or did - recruiting is now impossible for us as what person on a trial wants to be able to be podded when flying about empire in a ibis, and our last batch of trial members will be nearing the end of their 14 days soon, so the corp is going to shrink). And your comments about my age and the size of the corp really make your post reasonable.

We've been contacted by one of VL, to say that they personally will only engage if they are in a similar sized ship. However, about 30 minutes later another member of their corp was sitting in our home system in a HAC. Chances of even a swarm of t1 frigs against a HAC? Nil. Not when it can 2 shot kill most of them.
And as for previous comments about the carebearification of the game... if you started playing and were killed for no reason in safe space, by characters 2 or 3 years more expereinced flying ships you couldn't even fly for 6 months plus... how long would you keep playing the game? Empire might be for carebears, but it's also for noobs trying to buy their first skill book. And everyone was a noob once.
I guess I'm trying to appeal to those people out there that appreciate just how silly this situation is for a little help. I know how much of a community eve is, and i know there will be people and corps out there that have a little bit of honour and nobility left, even in the cut throat galaxy that is eve.

I really feel sorry for your corp OP.
As has already been pointed out, these people are just trying to pad their killmails.
They cant fight the older kids so they have to go hurt the new kids.
Pathetic really, but thats how it goes....

I feel for you guys. I've seen it happen to many a new/small/young/training corp.
I don't necessarily agree with the "Oh, we're doing it to help introduce people to PvP!" non-consentual PvP in high-sec, against <2 month toons is NOT an altruistic gesture in my book.
So all the advice above is great... AND...
Check your escrow tomorrow, and regularly for the next couple of days. I'm going to toss a lot of free gear your way.
(For the war-deccers... This guy is my main in training while I mission run with my other account. Go ahead and war-dec him. He hasn't left his station in about a month.)

a hac has no chance aginst a swarm of tech 1 frigs.. orbit under guns.. warp scarm him take out his drones and then him.. oh and some ecm would help too.
Look at this in a good way. you ahve just been intro'ed to some of the best in game who are going to come around and give you some real tactical training..
I might just want to join my alt to your corp to have a go aginst these guys.. :)

What Mattsumotto said - we specialize in fighting these kind of people, and we're very good at it. Drop by our public channel, chat to the folk there and give us some more information. We like to make sure we're fighting for the right sort of people but, that being in place, we can make your attackers wish they never even looked in your direction

Odds of a HAC against a t1 swarm? Nil, not when the swarm is properly outfitted. I've seen it on severeal occasions--the HAC either just curls up and dies or manages to run away. If there are enough of them then generally the frigates take no losses or only lose 1 or 2 ships.
Its hard to do anything when you are jammed, sensor damped, tracking disrupted, webbed, and scrambled all at once... against a bunch of small ships that orbit very quickly at close range. A properly outfitted T1 frigate fleet can do just that.

I know its a self plug since im in Agony myself... But let our instructors teach you how to truly enjoy being war decced. Nothing like watching big bad ass mega corp cancel their wars because your killing HAC's and their killing T1 Frigs and the occasional Cruiser. I still get a laugh at some of the ultimatum e-mails. Pay 300 mil and leave the system or we will keep the war going... lol ... Can we pay you the 300 mil "to" keep the war going?
But honestly... learn to fit your Frigs correctly and then go blow up their battleships. See how long they stick around.
