An attempt of dragging a higly profiled leader true the mud, it must get ugly.
Well even so , I admire what Verone have acomplished , he made a name for himself and his corp and contributed alot to the eve-community.
But its like they say , you cant pleace everyone. Sooner or later you will step on someones toes and get it throw'ed back in your face, and a official person will get it exposed in the public.

The contract was canceled very shortly after it began. What you should be worrying about is who, and why. There are more troubles within you than you obviously care to admit or realize.
That said, Veto will not release any more information than what has been mentioned in this thread.

Yeah, we had a contract.
We had spent a couple of days working the logistics and getting things ready, and this happened.
The contract was withdrawn before the engagement proper started, and stated as such in our charter (available on our forums) no refund was issued due to the planning and logistics effort on our part.
The client then paid us the second week of the contract off his own back to maintain his anonymity, even though I'd assured him it would stay this way.
This is all I can release regarding the contract itself, as per mine and the client's agreement.
And as for your question, no amount of ISK will buy you the name of someone protected by our corp's word.

I used to be a director of another corp (different character), and was so for a good while.
I've stripped roles and came inches away from booting members for talking trash to our enemies.
I've had next to no contact with Veto., and don't know Verone or Damus or anyone in Veto.. The only reason I'm posting this is because my views on what the OP said (and the responses) are objective.
If it were me, I would have booted you the first time you opened your mouth to say anything even remotely disrespectful. What's worse, is that you're bringing a private matter to a public forum.
Sure your post is fairly tactful, but it is, in fact, designed as an attack on your former CEO and is beyond pathetic.
If you're THAT upset, grab a ship, put a gun on it, and blow him up. This is a game, after all.
