You can login to TQ with the test server client (v27121). Shouldnt work, but it does.

you shouldn`t be doing that..it might also get you banned (tq scripts will identify you as using a modified version of the client)many people got banned cause of this.

Im not doing it. I noticed it was possible, and want it fixed. But maybe you were talking about people in general, yeah.

I just want to say that this bug is still there. I even accidentally logged in to TQ with the test client. Imagine if people think they are on the test server when they are not, and start suiciding or whatever. Of course you would think they would notice, but you never know...
Not to mention I can see potential problems of using a new client with a old server...

I reported this on eve-chaos... no one cared... /me shrugs... I also reported that the test client defaulted to selecting the TQ server instead of sisi like all the other test builds...

I think it's because the latest patch has a different release number (13), like Tranquility. Revelations patches used to have 14. I currently have the 2.14.27055 version and can't update it. Maybe they made a mistake and the latest patch should have been 2.14.27121 instead of 2.13.27121?

Regardless of whether the client/server allows you to connect or not, dont use a test server client on TQ.

Better response than the norm lately.
Figured the official line would be more like:
"ITS NOT YOUR GOD-GIVEN RIGHT TO HAVE A CLIENT THAT ONLY WORKS ON SISI, WHY DONT YOU****GOTS KNEEL AND KISS THE RING FOR THE PRIVELIGE OF ALPHA TESTING"

I think very few people do it by intention but it's very easy to do it by misstake. Would be better if you made sure it wasn't possible.

So where is the 2.14.27055 > Latest patch? Not in test patches. And it doesn't download automatically.

seems CCP put old mirror on test(27121)
my new pass didn't work but old pass worked and acc expired
