I see no valid reason to leave her. Believe me, life as a single man (been single for over 5 years) doesn't cut it. Being single and looking for a girlfriend is giving a lot of love and attention and receiving little in return. It's not actually that easy to find a new person that's right for you. If you continue the split, you really will find yourself. And no, you won't like feeling alone. There'll indeed come a time when that feeling strikes you and makes you wish you actually could turn back time. Don't go there, you are most likely to find more regrets than satisfaction. Call her, and tell her the way you really feel.
