He only said he'll "most likely get fired", so maybe we'll still see him.
Personally, I think the pic problem is unsolveable for some esoteric reason and CCP is using it to get rid of unwanted employees.
Fix the forum char pics within a month or you're fired!

Just a hint people, as they told us they are rendering ALL pics and the copying ALL over. Meaning *when* this happens it happens for *everyone*. At once.
In short, if you see any other chars with you don't need to bother to "test" if you magically are the exeption. It's either everyone or noone.
