it was stated by DEV (sorry can't find thread) that the new Character Portrait Generator machine was being shipped to host... and that it would come online with other Hardware upgrade.
Question:
-Were you able to bring it on with the early Nov hardware upgrade (but it just not enable yet)?
-ETA on when you will start updating portrait again?
There is starting to be more CCP employee (dev/qa/isd) without portrait then with them lately! 
EDIT: here is link to last communication about the upgraded server could find (but could swear there was followup answer in another thread).
How are those 2 new server doing out there?

Weirda hate seeing "!" abused on forum as n00bs/alts. That could maybe play out when they updated weekly/bi-weekly... but now there is alliance leader that are "!" (who aren't alt).

link in OP is subsequent to about 6 "SoonÖ" comment on the matter. They actually have hardware in London now (apparently). Was supposed to be integrated w/hardware upgrade at beginning of November... seem like that fell off map.
This isn't to slag for more important stuff they working on... that just merely seem like a configuration that would be done by entirely different set of people then those working on Kali.
Though it probably will be sad day when INNO is no longer a "!" (and hence eternal noob) 
Weirda wondering if there is market in character sell forum for circa 2004 alts with no skills, good attributes, but MOST IMPORTANTLY a character image that appear on the forum.

thank you for you response. if you happen to visit thread again though, could you clarify "end of the pipeline"? you mean:
a) it so close to being done it practically done
b) it so unimportant compared to kali that it will be dealt with last
pretty sure that you mean 'a', but Weirda suck at reading.
and as other pilot mention - can't wait for you Kali Data Export t20 (obviously it will not come until after Kali 1 - at which point most people extract a lot of that stuff anyway). Weirda prefer t20 files though
